Turok: Evolution was admittedly rushed and clunky, but the 2000s attitude, dinosaur hunting and massive map scale gave it so much charm.

A decent game, but didn't capture the magic of the original trilogy. The dark matter cube was pretty sick though.

i remember getting my xbox for one christmas and it came with turok and a few other games but turok caught my eye immediately, i still remember having so much fun how blessed was i as a kid to live through this

I had it on PS2, this piece of shit was running at 15-20FPS average, the menus were blurry as fuck, and the loading time were endless. I fucking hated the flying levels as well. But damn I loved the gun design. Turning your pistol into a sniper rifle was kino AF

This is one of my favorite Turok games! I had the Gamecube version. Going from the jungle to later in the game to all these facilities and stuff was wild, and the weapons were also wild. I had a fantastic time, and I hope this is added to the Gamecube switch online collection.

Turok Evolution was a premium game.

This game was absolute and total garbage but memorable despite that.

It was good, because it was trying to do what that trailer for No Mans Sky showed. But the original was like Doom puzzle and secrets, with Mario coin collecting. I prefer Evolution dinosaur safari. The best one was Turok on the next generation. That one went too linear though.

Crazy how this game features quicker melee attacks than games that came out decades later

This game had all the good guns. Cerebral Bore came as an attachement to the rocket launcher, the pistol became a sniper, dark matter cube, the plasma rifle doubled as chain lightning and was banned from multiplayer games, etc.

Remove the flying stages and it’s fine.

If you think the Xbox version is rushed and clunky then you should see the PC version. What a fucking mess. It's the game in most desperate need for a Nightdive Studios remaster.

You would be surprised at how much cooler this game is than most games that come out today. The creature design is honestly a 10/10. Its a solid game even if it feels clunky. The game plays more by straffing left and right which can feel kinda rewarding
