Turtle in the deep blue

Just cruising around without a care in the world

On my birthday some years past, I was snorkeling off the coast of Akumal, Mexico, and I saw a sea turtle just like this. It was a surreal moment for me - a true birthday gift from Heavenly Father.

We used to release turtles every July 4 in Hawaii at my old resort job

Watching the turtle is so soothing and meditative. He is so zen.

Except usually the turtle is surrounded by people trying to touch it when all it wants is to be left alone. I see them harassed at any Hawaiian island.

I love it. I always feel very relaxed when I see scenery like this. Maybe I should bring diving equipment and try to see them up close underwater
