I don’t normally agree with Monique but I totally agree. I told my son’s girlfriend to stop wearing a bonnet around me in public and I told my son to stop putting a hood over his head unless it’s raining. They stopped out of respect for me.

The bonnet for running around does not bother me. The jammies do. Put on something nice and casual. Cover your bodies and body fat. I have seen large girls, and skinny ones, showing more butt than I woman wearing a bikini! 🤮🤮 I have seen more gut than a gastrointestinal doc.

A lot of us grew up being told that dressing neatly, tucking in a shirt, speaking professionally, or carrying ourselves a certain way was “acting white.” As a result, instead of feeling free to present ourselves authentically and professionally… so it was the inverse on steroids
