I have been following this guy’s analysis of Kenyan politics for some time now and i have a feeling that he is stuck in a time warp. He uses Moi’s playbook to analyze modern political trends. He claims to have been very well connected to Moi who was his neighbor and the who was who in kenyan politics including Ruto during Moi’s reign. He also claims to have been on a speed dial with those politicians and was their advisor and/or some kind of strategist on how to win elections. Interestingly he doesn’t seem to have vied for or won any elective seat himself. Which makes me think that he doesn’t appreciate that the way politics is done in this country today has evolved. In all his analysis he does not seem to have a place for the voters in an election. He reasons like Mudavadi when he says that an incumbent president cannot be defeated simply because he can rig elections. I think his analysis is flawed. The Kenyan voters are now woke politically and they will determine the 2027 and future elections. If anyone is in doubt they only need to look at the Olkalou by election. It provides the template for how empowered the kenyan voters have become politically.

These relics should retire to their farms and leave the rest to us.
