TV licensing said an “enforcement officer” would be calling today! 🤦

My mate doesn’t pay it.. Had an enforcement officer turn up and this is how it went.. Officer: Do you watch terrestrial tv? Mate. No I don’t. Officer: Well can you prove to me that you don’t watch them..? Mate: No I can’t but can you prove to me that I do.. Off he went.. 😂

For fook sake BBC, just get your revenue from advertising, like every other broadcaster.

The people defending BBC in the replies must be quick to forget what their tv license fees paid for 🤷‍♂️

Exactly. Netflix wouldnt get away with terrorising people into subscribing. Idk why the BBC are allowed to. "Buy our shit or we'll send the boys round, you might even get sent to prison!" Definitely doesn't make me wanna buy one. Puts me right off. I'll stay well away.

They’ve been threatening me for almost three years now. I had the enforcement officer turn up around two years ago, unannounced, after numerous letters informing me of dates I should expect one. The officer reported that I did indeed have no traditional capacity to watch live television and agreed I was fine as I was. @BBC have continued to write me threatening letters and I’m approaching the point of being taken to court apparently, which I look forward to. @banthebbc #DefundTheBBC
