TV Version vs Rebuild

Honestly don’t hate the rebuild version and I actually like some of the new animation they added, granted the music is typical over the top post 20th century Sagisu, when Marking Time Waiting for Death sold the moment much better imo.

Rebuild won't ever match the sauce of the original so they had to add random extra details like the Eva's hand being human

Rebuild 1 and 2 were ok. Then they jumped the shark 20 times, shot it in its face a 100 times and jumped the corpse 50 times more in rebuild 3. And rebuild 4 was delayed by almost a decade and tried as well as failed to make sense of whatever the hell 3 was...

It's interesting to see how Shinji was 'different' between versions. Original was this incredibly sad, controlled child. The Rebuild version was far more personally active, but out of raw fear and anger. The You Can (Not) one was just rage. lol

I hate the rebuilds.
