Yes especially if I get raided a lot cause I have to dance every time I get raided and to make my Vtuber dance I have to give myself whiplash

Have you tweaked your model to fit your face and movements?

I’ve tried but I still have a difficult time. I finally got it so it tracks my mouth a bit better and doesn’t keep me in a frown when I’m focused

You could always tweak your sentivities to make the model easier to puppet/require less movement.

This is not surprising. Since I remember Shylily mentioning a few years that you have to exaggerate your expressions for a vtuber model to convey your expressions properly. So I don't find it cringe.

It makes sense. You have to exaggerate the facial expressions in order for the camera to pick it up. Maybe it's my old adult brain, but it's not that "cringe" in context.

That's a nice look behind the curtains of Vtubing and it's kinda similar to theater. In theater you have to overact since the public can't see small emotional expressions from afar and this principle applies to the translation from video capture to model animation.

when i tried vtubing because it felt "more chill" i naturally started doing that too cause i wanted my model to be more animated and after some time i was like bruh ts not chill at all actually 😭🤚

damn... you can raise sensitivity on the model, the webcam and lighting to help you not have to exagerate so much, but yeah, it is pupeteering after all. Pretty cool. Some additional trackers or using buttons and pedals like some vtuber do also helps
