'Twelve front pages about Keir Starmer's curry... today not a single syllable about Boris Johnson, the Lord, and the spy.' James O'Brien is staggered by the lack of media coverage on Boris Johnson concealing his attendance at the Lebedev villa party while he was Foreign Secretary.

James O'Brien pointed to how different the media coverage would be if the revelations involving Boris Johnson and Lebedev had instead involved Jeremy Corbyn: “Do you see how mad it is!”

@mrjamesob Umm,

@dcminx @mrjamesob The Evening Standard went out of their way to do a front page “splash” criticising Starmer yesterday. CCHQ followed that up with an aggressive tweet. The absolute nerve of them. Still … still people in the country do not see it. Still!!

@mrjamesob

@mrjamesob If you were to draw a spy's dream, you'd end up drawing Boris Johnson A man in a high position in government who's been running around begging people for money? That's Christmas Day for anyone in the espionage industry

@mrjamesob How many newspaper pages on Smearing Mr Corbyn did you see? I'd like to take a guess at over 200.🤔

@mrjamesob Well maybe you can now see plainly how the media sets the political agenda in the UK (and elsewhere). They can turn a decent man into a villain and a self serving, corrupt rogue into a hero. Whoever controls the media, controls our so called democracy.

@mrjamesob Officials contacted Buckingham Palace, to ask whether HM The Queen could intervene and block the peerage, something the monarch is constitutionally entitled to do. She is understood to have refused fearing this would drag [her] into contoversial political matters.#Dispatches

@markminshall1 @mrjamesob Just wait until you find out what they did to Corbyn, you will explode with outrage.....turning on my notifications for that one!

@mrjamesob I just cannot believe how the guy hasn’t been questioned under caution. And he MUST have signed the official secrets act, as foreign sec. How is he so immune??
