This was such a fun night out in Paris. Adam and I were so lucky. We’re parents, we have two young kids, but we had a stolen weekend in Paris and got to go to the Valentino Couture show that Pierpaolo had invited us to. I got to go to their beautiful showroom, and this was waiting for me on a hanger. The tights were so beautiful. They were a little hard to stand in, but I didn’t care because I felt fierce. It was just a fantastic night. I think we all wound up on the dance floor, and Pierpaolo came over when we were talking. Then at a certain point he just goes, “I’m so sorry, I can’t be here. It’s not right. It’s not right that there’s a rope here. We should be out there. I’m going to go out there.” I was like, “Well, of course, you’re absolutely right, and I should be out there too.” So we went out there and we were dancing, and the song was so good and the vibe was so lovely that I just kind of closed my eyes and started dancing. ⭐️: I honestly spent so much time thinking about it. At first, I kept wondering if it was the right choice. Every time I looked in the mirror, it felt unfamiliar and a little awkward. And I think there are certain shades of blonde that suit me, and others that just don’t feel like me. But I really, really thought about it a lot. On top of that, there were times when I was out and about and had to deal with some not-so-great reactions because of it, so I had a lot of worries. I kept going back and forth in my head. When I wore that outfit for the music show performance, I actually couldn’t sleep at all the night before. I had so many thoughts and worries that I was basically fighting with myself. My mood was really bad that day. But even though my body felt like it weighed a ton, I dragged myself to the music show and did it. And while I was there, I was still battling with myself, thinking, “Is this really right? Am I just too stuck in my own perspective to see it clearly? Maybe I’m the only one who doesn’t get it.” But at the same time, I kept telling myself, “We already filmed the music video like this. This is something I have to commit to.” So I went on stage. I was honestly feeling really down that day. I had almost no confidence in myself. But later on, seeing that so many people understood it and liked it made me realise that maybe it wasn’t completely the wrong choice after all. That said, my favourite hairstyle on myself is still black hair. So today, I got my hair and makeup done, looked in the mirror, and thought, “I need to go live.” So here I am.

🦊 i finished wrapping up first my solo recently and as words from people around me started influencing me, it really stressed me out and it really started swaying my identity as a person…i was really burnt out for 3 months 🦊 i used to be someone that told people everything when i was going through a hard time like “i’m going through a tough time right now” but i don’t know when it started, but i couldn’t get myself to tell people around me anymore 👤 i wonder why? was it out of consideration for them? 🦊 that could be why…and i also felt like i needed to learn how to overcome things myself 🦊 i didn’t say anything to anyone and was going through it myself…then i thought about namjoon hyung so i went to him and asked him a lot of questions and one of the things he said to me was that he hopes i face the things that make me uncomfortable 🦊 i had conflicts with soobin and we had awkward phases but i wanted to erase all of these things one by one and i feel like there were also a lot of things that i had been misunderstanding, coming to think of it now…so i went up to soobin first and said “hey, let’s go get a drink”

long way long ride was the letter yeonjun needed to hear :( 🦊 I turned the camera off and broke down crying. I was going through a period of deep self-doubt about who I was as a person and as an artist, and I kept sinking further and further into it. 🦊 The first time I listened to Long Way Long Ride, it gave me a complete sense of comfort. The most important thing is that even in the before, I still felt like a gorgeous woman. The weightloss journey hasn’t been easy and there have been days when it felt like I could just give up but I remind myself why I started and why I’m doing it and then I keep going. I was feeling like there isn’t much visual difference compared to everyone else I’ve been seeing including people who lost even less than 25kg but then I saw that old video of me and I had to just compare. Our journeys and bodies are different and I do need to give myself grace. I can’t wait to hit my goal weight and body❤️

This part breaks and heals my heart at the same time 💔Mingi’s words are full of wisdom, as always🥺 🐥 I was full of arrogance in the beginning, but after I made my debut, I felt so small. From then on, I lost a lot of my mental strength. As soon as I made my debut, I thought I was the best and I thought I was in first place. That’s why those aspirations, that tenacity, and that something about me - my self-worth - was so high. But after that, it was destroyed in an instant. 🐥 I lost a lot of my self-worth, and I started to feel like I was worth nothing. I started to doubt if there was any reason for me to be in this group. When I feel that kind of self-disgust, I think it’s important how I overcome those thoughts. In my early days of my debut, I think I only had a pretty packaging on me. I used to think, ‘I’m doing well, what more can I do?’ But after that pretty packaging came off, I had nothing inside. So I think it took me a long time to fill myself up. Now, even if I break down once in a while, I just go back to the human Song Mingi, and I look for the things I like one by one, and then I think, ‘People will like me a bit now, right?’ Since we’re celebrities, we need to satisfy the people to a certain degree. But I think we still have to satisfy ourselves in the process as well. I think I try to find a harmony between the two in my head. 🐥 It took me a long time to build this up, but I think the process of building myself up, unlike building a sand castle, you build it up little by little. From then to now…. My 1st tryout…I had no idea how to take a bump, I didn’t even know what a “bump” was let alone what a “promo” was… I was so nervous you can hear the quiver in my voice. I had no idea what I was doing. The only thing I knew how to do was be me, because there is only ONE ME and that was my way to stand out. Shoutout to Mark Henry. So I wore my favorite rose outfit I made for a crossfit competition and showed that I may not come from this business, I may not know much but I will work my ass off and I will love and respect this business if I was given a chance. At 1st I always felt like I was stealing someone else’s dream so I threw myself whole heartedly into this. I dealt with imposter syndrome for A LONG time. I always felt like I had something to prove. Now… I know exactly who I am. I know how much hardwork I put in, I know my worth NO MATTER WHAT, and I know everything I’ve gotten and haven’t gotten yet IS MINE. Dream big. George Lucas on how he had to reluctantly write the screenplay for 'American Graffiti' (1973) & the confidence he gained from the movie's success: "When I was doing 'American Graffiti' (1973) I was still struggling with my ‘I don’t want to be a writer’ syndrome. I had some good friends of mine that I wanted to write the screenplay, but it took me like two years just to get the money to do a screenplay. And I got a little tiny amount of money and—which I had to go actually to the Cannes Film Festival to get on my own. So finally I got this money. I called back and I said, you know, “I got the money. We can start working on the screenplay.” And they said, “Oh, we don’t want to do that now. We’ve got our own low-budget picture off the ground and we can’t write it.” I said, “Oh no.” I said, “What am I going to do? I am in Europe and I’m not going to be back for like three months and I want to get this thing off the ground.” So they recommended another student from school that I knew pretty well. I had a story treatment that laid out the entire story scene by scene, so I called him over the phone from London and I said, “Do you want to do this?” And he said, “Okay.” The person I was working with at that time as a producer made a deal with him for the whole money because there wasn’t very much. It was so tiny that he could only get him to do it for the whole amount of money. When I came back from England, the screenplay was a completely different screenplay from the story treatment. It was more like 'Hot Rods to Hell' (1967). It was very fantasy-like, with playing chicken and things that kids didn’t really do. I wanted something that was more like the way I grew up. So I took that and I said, “Okay. Now here I am. I’ve got a deal to turn in a screenplay. I’ve got a screenplay that is just not the kind of screenplay I want at all and I have no money.” And, I spent the very last money I had saved up to go to Europe to make the deal, so I had nothing. In 2009, after two back surgeries, my doctors told me I would never walk again without the assistance of a cane or walker. I gave up. l wrote out my suicide note and was ready to end it all. But, in that moment, my three-year-old son Matthew walked into my bedroom and saved my life. I truly believe it was an intervention from God. After that moment, I cried out to God and told him that if he showed me the way, I would put in the hard work to dig myself out of that bed and dig my family out of poverty. My mindset changed. I used to see myself as a victim. I would ask myself "Why me?" After that moment, I started to tell myself "Why not me?" I worked hard to overcome the obstacles I faced in my life and I will work even harder to become the first black Republican elected to Congress in the history of Ohio.

I’m drained. I’m tired. 😪 I made this video February, saying to myself how I’m trusting God that everything won’t be the same before June/year ends but guess what? We are in June and it’s still the same. I put in efforts, I put in the work but nothing just seems to work. I’m honestly tired, if I think of how invested I am in the skill, I will just burst into tears and say I’m never giving up but this moment? I’m not sure if I want to keep going 😭💔 I’m drained, I’m tired, I’m stressed but I still say to myself that all will be fine meanwhile it is not. 💔 I tried so much on this my funded acc, just one mistake messed it all up at first, went into remaining just 0.5% to blow it off, I remained calm and took it back to remaining 4% and now it’s gone. I’m sorry but I have failed 😣💔. I have fucking failed myself. I hope I find peace with it. 🖊️ Or maybe I get the chance to try again and not fail. Jeonghan talking about his “muscle”🥹 And I’m glad his shoulder has gotten so much better🥹🤍 #정한 😇 No, no, I don’t have muscles. I realized I also have to workout in order to live. Everyone does it and it’s funny that I’m even saying this, but If I don’t workout, everything starts to hurt... the reason why I started wokring out was because of my shoulder. During maestro era, I kept having trouble getting into places and things like that. So if you look at my BE@RBRICK, there’s a heart mark on it. I was actually planning to have shoulder surgery. And when I came back after rehabilitation, I was planning it so that if I danced or did anything, there wouldn’t be any problems in daily life. Then I ended up going to yoga for corrective treatment. Since it was correction, I kept going consistently, I think for over a year and a half. But it’s not really yoga, for me, it’s more like correction. While doing that and trying to workout, my shoulder gradually started getting better! Also, when I first went for the correction, I could really feel that my pelvis was misaligned. So as I corrected that, my shoulder also started improving. And as my shoulder kept getting better and better, I thought I don’t think I need surgery anymore

soobin about sasaengs (stalkers) 🐰 i thought that i should take about this someday later but it happened during my break this time and even when i went on a trip with my friend to sapporo last time…i don’t know how they find out, they probably buy my flight information…there are people who wait at the airport. this is not a schedule but me during my free time…moas already know how much i like going on international trips…it’s not just me going on a trip by myself, i always go with my friends so you waiting at the airport, taking videos and following us…when i’m alone, i can just ignore it but it’s really uncomfortable for my friends 🐰 the reason i barely came on dms during the break this time is also…i usually share what i’m doing in real time or share selfies in real time on dms but i felt like these people would follow me if i said what i was doing or if i sent a selfie so i couldn’t send any dms…i didn’t send them so i’m sorry to moas who missed me but i didn’t want my real-time information to be leaked so i didn’t send anything 🐰 even the local fans that i met…i told them that i was on a private trip so although it’s okay for them to take pictures and i can sign for them…i asked if they could post it a week later because i thought them uploading it right away would interfere with my trip…i explained this to them and took pictures and signed for them and while i was on the trip, nobody actually uploaded sightings of me and i was really grateful to the local fans for that…but although it wasn’t uploaded anywhere, there were people who came to the airport 🐰 i’m not one bit happy to see you and it’s very uncomfortable so i hope you don’t do things like this again
