I think it's one of the strongest horror remakes. Hate that it got some grief at the time. It was really tight.

People are such whiney babies about reboots it’s embarrassing. Not every remake is inherently bad and I’m glad this one’s getting more love!

Advertising for the movie was strong as hell too. The old-timey photograph sounds with the “Inspired by a True Story” bit really hooked me even before I saw the film

I like that despite all their dirty evil shenanigans they still like clean sheets on the bed.

Fuuuuuck the anticipation up to that leg slice is so brutal lol Such a fun remake and movie

I love how this scene is set up. Leatherface chasing them with his chainsaw in such a dirty and narrow hallway.

I prefer the original a lot more but this was a really good remake, one of my favourites along with the hills have eyes and house of wax!
