And to think people are into AI music. Such a shame. Music is a very deep and real part of human expression & the human experience. This is a masterpiece & John Mayer, among countless others prove how we must cherish & encourage real musical creativity & composition.

Rory Gallagher was born 75 years ago today. One of the nicest guys you could ever meet and a brilliant songwriter and musician. And what an honour….London 1990 - concert for 1!

A Somali migrant who has lived in Britain for 29 years says he hates the country. Twenty-nine years of housing, benefits, and protection. And still — pure hatred. If you hate Britain this much, why are you still here?

Iranians are always twenty years behind; they still think the UK, a country that cannot keep shops open on its high streets, is still pulling the strings for Iran.

A MSG FOR EXPLOITED ARTISTS. so many years I didn’t have the money to tour & I always blamed myself. all along I’d never been given what was mine. artists are continuously taken advantage of & something needs to change.

A fan who is also a singer has just paid tribute to ROSALÍA live on the show. She handed her a flash drive containing her songs and thanked the artist for inspiring her and for being a reference for smaller singers like herself, giving them faith that they, too, can achieve worldwide success. “Thank you. Thank you so, so much. No, I don’t have a reference. I don’t have a greater reference than you in music. You are the most personified expression of art that exists, and I thank you with all my heart for what you do, for your music, for your art, for saving so many lives with your music. I’m incredibly grateful. Thanks to you, many artists believe that one day they can reach so many people, attract as much attention as you do, with such honesty and sincerity. I brought you a flash drive with my music—bold as I am—and this is my moment to give it to you.”

Bessent: “We can see the Iranians are trying to use the Strait of Hormuz as a choke point. It's not a choke point for the U.S., but it is a choke point for many, many other countries…That will be bypassed in 2 years. In 2 years, the Strait of Hormuz will be like a worthless piece of water.”
