Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey is calling for a ban on assault rifles and high-capacity magazines after the deadly attack at Annunciation School and Church. In a press conference, Frey urged both state and local officials to pass legislation prohibiting the sale and use of these types of firearms. He emphasized that the ban is not out of hate but out of a "foundational love for our kids."

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz signed two executive orders aimed at curbing gun violence during a press conference held Tuesday, declaring the move a necessary response to legislative "stonewalling" on safety measures. The newly signed orders will establish a Statewide Safety Council, mandate more comprehensive data collection on the financial costs of gun violence, and improve public education regarding safe firearm storage.

🚨 HOLY CRAP! In the briefing room, Karoline Leavitt ERUPTS on the leftist insurrection in Minnesota being propped up by Democrat officials, says it DOESN'T HAPPEN in red states like Florida "It's truly SHAMEFUL that now for more than a YEAR, you've had elected Democrat governors and mayors who have basically held their state and local law enforcement HOSTAGE and told them you cannot cooperate with federal law enforcement!" "Why? It's because these Democrats are DERANGED in their hatred for President Trump, and they are holding their state and local law enforcement hostage as a result!" "And these Democrat mayors and governors are doing this over what? Over the lawful and legitimate law enforcement operations to remove violent criminals from the streets of Minnesota, from the streets of California, from the streets of New York, and from the streets of every state across this country." "And you don't see these riots and this vandalism taking place in states like Florida. Why? Because you have a governor in that state who has empowered federal and local authorities to work together!" "And it's DESPICABLE what we're seeing from these Democrat politicians, especially in sanctuary states and cities across the country."

🚨 JUST IN: Minneapolis pastor EVISCERATES Tim Walz and Mayor Frey for putting up with the leftist INVASION and intimidation of the church "Blame lies on Governor Walz and the mayors in Minneapolis and St. Paul who have been encouraging this sort of lawlessness as these law enforcement is seeking to carry out their lawful mission!" "The government is responsible to secure the border, to remove illegals. This is a lawful thing to do. And yet the governor of Minnesota has been encouraging them to urgently and loudly protest these actions!" "And now it's not simply disrupting law enforcement actions, it's following law enforcement agents to their places of worship, harassing their families, scaring their children, anyone who's associated with them, demanding that they denounce them." "These are terrible tactics and it is SHAMEFUL that the governor would be so tepid in his condemnation!"

I pray that every federal law enforcement officer on the ground in Minnesota right now remains safe as they carry out their vital mission. Tim Walz and Jacob Frey are cowards who are inciting violence to distract from their own failures. It's dangerous. Stay safe, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

🚨 WATCH: Minnesota mayors sound the alarm on impacts of fraud and poor fiscal management on their cities "Affordability is collapsing in the state of Minnesota and unfunded mandates are crushing our communities," says Crosslake Mayor Jackson Purfeerst. According to Purfeerst, Gov. Tim Walz acknowledged in a past meeting that the "Department of Human Services was being abused." "If this abuse was known, why were stronger safeguards not put in place sooner? ... The crisis was not sudden, it was simply ignored. "Mayors see up close how catastrophic fiscal policy and unchecked fraud hollow out our cities, strain our budgets, and drive up taxes." More than 250 mayors have signed onto a letter calling on state leaders to reverse course. "Public safety, infrastructure, and basic community services are already on the chopping block — not because cities are mismanaged, but because the system above us is failing." "When accountability fails at the very top, mayors are left with no choice but to stand up."

Frey: "There are countless more people who are undocumented in Florida and Texas and Utah. Why are they in these much smaller cities in the middle of the Midwest? The answer is very clear: it's politics. Florida and Texas and Utah are Republican states. The reason that Minnesota and Minneapolis are being targeted is because you've got a Democratic governor, a Democratic attorney general, and Democratic mayors. We are doing everything possible to keep our cities safe through this unprecedented time."

Listen to this exchange between Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and Rep. Paul Gosar. This came during a Congressional hearing on "sanctuary cities," where the mayors of New York City, Chicago, Denver, and Boston have all largely argued their cities have overall gotten safer in the past few years with their current policies during their respective migrant influxes (they've all seen murder drops). So far the mayors have maintained they follow all local, state, and federal laws and distinguished between complying with ICE detainers vs warrants, the latter of which they've testified they do.

.Tim Walz used to be supported by the NRA and took money from them. But after the Parkland shooting his daughter, Hope asked he do all he could to fight gun violence. In response Walz not only denounced the NRA & gave all the money he ever took from them to charity. Since then he’s passed multiple gun laws as governor of Minnesota.

🚨 BREAKING: Senate Republicans are cutting a deal with the Trump White House to criminalize sanctuary cities at the federal level, a move that would allow the arrest of mayors and governors for how they govern. Let’s be clear about what this is: federal criminalization of local policy choices. Not border security. Not public safety. A DIRECT assault on federalism and democratic governance.

Scott Jennings: “I think I'm looking at what the President has done today. Number one, he spoke to Walz. Number two, he spoke to the Mayor of Minneapolis, he spoke to Frey… Why are there so many Border Patrol and ICE agents in Minneapolis? It's a simple answer. Because they will not cooperate with federal officials.” “In Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, the Mayor, has made it clear, they will not cooperate, and they will not let ICE or Border Patrol into the jails, like they do in so many places. So, is the immigration crisis in Minneapolis? No. In fact, most of the… deportations going on in this country are actually happening in red states.” “But there are illegal aliens in Minneapolis. They are being protected by the Democrats who run Minneapolis. And if Jacob Frey and Tim Walz cooperate… as they have been begging for weeks, then you wouldn't have this massive presence in Minneapolis.” “You don't have chaos anywhere else in the country, nowhere else except Minneapolis. And what does Minneapolis have that nobody else has? Walz and Frey, and a failure to cooperate, and them out, radicalizing their constituents, comparing this to the Diary of Anne Frank, calling it the Battle of Gettysburg? Come on. That is not responsible rhetoric.”

🚨 BREAKING: Virginia Democrats just pushed through a sweeping gun control bill banning so-called “assault weapons,” sending it straight to Governor Spanberger’s desk after ramming it through the legislature. The proposal traces back to a lawmaker originally from Bangladesh, and now it’s being used to reshape gun laws in a state that once stood firmly for the Second Amendment. For millions of Virginians who legally own firearms, the message from Richmond is clear. The political balance in the state has changed and the consequences are now becoming reality. Moments like this are exactly why elections matter. One shift in power and entire policies change overnight. Elections have consequences.
