Twitch Streamer Denims very confidently provides court updates to her lawsuit with Ethan Klein while also further asking for donations to her lawsuit. Denims previously stated that she would go to trial, but that is incorrect; her lawyers have filed a pre-trial motion for judgment on the pleadings. Her lawyers are potentially attempting to avoid trial by filing the motion in the first place because they are asserting that the original petition is so factually weak that the judge can make a ruling based on the pleadings alone. (This is my opinion) They can also potentially settle, to which Denims states that she will not settle.

What I keep going back to is why would Candace, knowing that TPUSA and DW are building a case(s) on her actually do that podcast yesterday. Did she not talk to her attorneys? Did she just brush them off for the 300k or her ego? The other day she said she thought she knew the law better than Baron because she’s read so many lawsuits. I wonder if she thinks she knows more than her lawyers and tells them she got this? Alliance Defending Freedom has worked with TPUSA before and Candace knows DW is in the organization.

Had an interesting conversation this weekend with an older relative who's politics are "just be a good person". She's relatively wealthy and gives to the types of causes you would expect this type of person to give. She gives her time too. She is actually a good person. I asked her if she was ever concerned that the causes she gave to would reduce the proportion of people like her in the world. She said that she thought the opposite. That she was inspired by the generosity and kindness of others, and that by giving she would increase the proportion of people like her. I said I believed she inspires her peers, but her peers aren't the people she's giving money to. Do they become productive and generous people, like her? Or is she just increasing the proportion of people who are takers and don't give anything back? Despite decades of generosity, this was clearly a question she had never thought about. The implications made her uncomfortable, and the conversation basically ended after that.
