"I had almost no users, so security wasn't really an issue" is the problem. Security should **not** be an afterthought. It should be part of the original design. I hope you will educate your users on this going forward.

Just because I said ‘security wasn’t an issue’ doesn’t mean I didn’t take it seriously. I’ve been protecting my users’ data from day 1. Back then, I had 10 users, and no one was trying to hack me, so no security issues showed up. Now, with thousands of users, and hundreds of people trying to find security issues, I'm facing bigger challenges. My mistake was not adapting fast enough. But I’ve learned from it 🫡

It's too late, Marc, and it does not excuse your past behavior. It seems like you started seeing the impact on your earnings and decided to change your strategy to avoid going broke. If you were concerned about your customers, this would be your first behavior, not the last.
