Story is on Halle, a rapid retreat causes tens of thousands of Terran soldiers to be caught up in a Port City. Though evacuations are underway to try and bring them across the water, there's just little to no time to get them all. Command opts to nuke the city.

The destruction of the city, it's attackers and the tens of thousands of defenders brought pause to the Imperial offensive. Their command wasn't sure what to make of the glassing of their own men in such a desperate act- and opted for caution.

The Imperial halt of their advance bought the Terrans precious time in the form of two weeks. A new defensive line was able to be formed before the Imperials began launching their offensives again- but this time the Terrans were reinforced and dug in.

Damn, that is a heavy decision to make, tactically yeah sound, but still. Need more animation like this in the future, unafraid to tell a story like this.

I want to do more of these quick short stories but I have to figure out the event in the setting to focus on
