A multi disciplinary team operationalised intelligence information about cash-in-transit suspects traveling in a Toyota fortuner SUV vehicle from KwaZulu-Natal to Gauteng. The suspects used the fake money to pay for accommodation at a local lodge. They initially managed to deceive the lodge staff, but the scam was later discovered while they were still staying there, leading to their arrest. During investigations, it was established that a silver Land Rover visited the lodge daily to collect the two suspects. We also managed to obtain a photo of the vehicle.
