The incident, which occurred around 4 a.m. on May 27th, was shared by the popular local Facebook page “Pattaya One Day, Thousand Stories.” The 46-second clip shows the three Thais, two of whom were wearing black vests resembling security guard uniforms from entertainment venues, confronting and assaulting the lone foreigner in the middle of the road. In the footage, both sides adopt Muay Thai stances before the fight escalates into a chaotic brawl. The three Thai men repeatedly attempt to swarm and punch the tourist, who fights back vigorously. More footage, this time from CCTV, of the massive street brawl in Small Heath, Birmingham, on Sunday. Two people were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder following the incident outside Noor-Ul-Uloom mosque, on the corner of Sommerville Road and St Oswalds Road, at around 5.15pm. Police said the incident was not connected to the mosque and arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of violent disorder and a 29-year-old man on suspicion of the same offence and assaulting an emergency worker Detectives said no-one was seriously injured. Chief Insp Haroon Chughtai said: “We have carried out enquiries and after speaking with various members of the community, and after initial CCTV enquiries, we are satisfied the incident is not linked to the mosque. “We understand the concerns of the community, and we will be carrying out reassurance patrols in the area.”
