Under the Fourth Amendment, Courts have ruled that nervousness, shakiness or avoiding eye contact with Police during a traffic does not give reasonable suspicion or probable cause. So this is an unreasonable search.

These officers did nothing wrong by conducting a pretextual stop. You might want to read the UNANIMOUS Supreme Court decision in Whren v US. Officers are free to conduct pretextual stops all day long. They had at least two legitimate traffic offenses. The officers are good to go.
