It seems that every black person who is able to articulate their positions and back them up with historical facts are Conservatives (Classic Liberals).

Capitalism is a weapon and just like a weapon, how you use it matters. A weapon used to defend yourself against tyranny is a powerful force of freedom and that’s exactly what capitalism does. If our founders continued the king and dictator path, America would Europe.

BTW, I LOVE finding black conservatives. A black conservative has to be a free thinker, a logical person, and they must be more concerned about being right than being liked. Makes my soul sing.

Antebellum slavery WAS NOT CAPITALISM! That is why we went to war. The one possession everybody owns is themselves. Capitalism has some drawbacks, and there are some needs for socialism, like roads, military, etc... But capitalism in the industrial supply chain is unsurpassed.

People need to stop calling Democrats “liberals.” Liberalism used to mean things like individual freedom, free speech, skepticism of government power, and letting people live their own lives. The modern Democratic Party moved away from that and has become something different.

Slavery was never a part of capitalism. In capitalism, you own the proceeds of your labor. Slavery exists outside of capitalism, by definition.

It is true that capitalism is a construct of white supremacy, that is how the modern world was built. however it is only oppressive to those who lack the motivation and work ethic to participate.
