Two dozen drivers found their car windows smashed in a San Francisco parking lot. It's not clear when the break-ins happened, but one car owner had their leather seats ripped up, and multiple others had items stolen. We have not heard back from SFPD on this situation.

The owner of the car tried to make an alarm but people didn't understand what was going on because the thugs used less than three minutes to break into the car and take off. Someone knew she had the money and was trailing her, because these were not random thugs trying their luck.

"If we had sat on the bus one minute longer, we were gone.” Pattabiraman Venkatesan and his wife Anjana Raja narrowly escaped the ferocious Nepal floods on their way back from a pilgrimage to Tibet. The couple from the San Francisco Bay Area witnessed a surge of water destroy everything in its path and told CBS News' Ramy Inocencio that others around them weren't as lucky to survive. Raja said they were on just one of two out of the 15 tour busses of their group to not get swept away.

A family in Melbourne’s south-east has had their holiday ruined after their car, packed with passports and luggage, was stolen from their Keysborough driveway as they were on the way to the airport at approximately 4:15am on Thursday. CCTV shows an alleged thief jumping into the Kia Carnival as the family of five prepared for their Bali trip, narrowly missing the parents as they tried to stop him. Two car seats were later found dumped in Cranbourne. Police are investigating and urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.

This group of friends were going for an outing in the city, when they finally found a place to park they see it’s $40 but decided to just go ahead and pay it at that point. When they got back they see that their car had a boot on it and they are claiming they went over their parking time limit. Turns out the parking a lot workers have a deal with the boot company, they had the boot company pilot the boot on other peoples cars too so they can make money. As soon as she threatens to call the police, he claims go ahead we have a cop here too, but they hurry up and take the boot off. Was this a scam all along, or did nobody bother to ask if there was a time limit on parking?
