I think there’s a REALLY interesting math problem sitting in WARDOGS right now. We’re hitting this buffer where grinders can unlock in ~4 days what a more casual player might take 4 weeks to reach. That creates a loop offset. The grinder keeps grinding. The normie has to adapt change playstyle, loot someone they just outplayed, play slower, learn what’s actually worth chasing, repeat. That takes patience AND awareness. And I have the patience for it. I’ll adapt. But the dude who worked all day, comes home and has 2-3 matches to unwind before getting off? At some point he may wonder why his casual shooter session turned into a Souls-like shooter And this is the part that caught my attention: 3 of the guys I regularly play with put WARDOGS down last night. Not because they hate the game. They just don’t have the time to keep up with the progression/meta loop. That’s the danger. New season hits → everyone comes back → the game feels incredible for a couple weeks → then the players who can’t keep pace start disappearing. I don’t think the answer is simply making progression faster. It’s finding that PERFECT math between grinders, weekend warriors and the guy who only has 2 hours a night. That’s one hell of a meta loop to solve. But if you guys nail it? This thing has legs.

@Zigarot Would love to see a roguelike-style mode where everyone starts with $0, basic kit for their chosen class, weapons, armor, gear, etc. The better you’re doing, the stronger your loadout gets—so by late game if you’re doing well you have enough cash to run the AMR, level 4 armor etc
