Leanne: Five years ago, five and a half years ago, my husband, who was 39 years old, I was 34 took his life. John: Oh, Leanne, I’m sorry. Leanne: Yeah, hard, hard things. I had seven children, ages 13 and under, and a four-month-old on my hip at the funeral. And, um... John: Wow, was he the father of all seven? Leanne: Yes. Yes, and we had been married 15 years. John: Woah. Leanne: Um, so the oldest at the time was 13, and he just really struggled with his dad’s death. Um, it was very hard for him to overcome. We did counseling, we did medication, we did treatment programs... I did everything to try to help him. And two years ago, um, last month, he took his life, and I found him hanging in my shed, and it was terrible, and it's awful. But, um... I am now, we’re two years out, and obviously, still very hard, but the problem I’m running into is with my... John: Hey, hold on real quick. Real quick before we get to the problem. Stop there, okay? Because you blew by that pretty quick. That’s a lot. Leanne: It's it is a lot. Yes. John: It’s a lot. And you’ve got six other kids that you immediately rallied around to take care of? That is a lot. And here’s the deal: Leanne, I’ve shown up. I’ve been in that exact scene. Holding a mother in that exact moment. Leanne: Right. John: That’s a lot. Leanne: It’s pretty horrific. John: Yeah. No mother should ever see that. Ever. Leanne: I agree. I agree. John: No no wife should ever experience that.

CAMBRIDGE 1969 (FOR JOHN) Yoko Ono: I was asked to visit Cambridge University to perform my vocal work. As the date approached, they called me asking if I was still coming, since they knew that I had recently got married and didn't know if my plans had changed or not. "Tell him you're coming with a band," John whispered loudly from the side. John and I thought it was a riot, but we didn't know how they would take it at the other end of the phone. Was it alright to bring a rocker? But the guy held his ground well. It was Cambridge, so the greeting committee was cordial but cool. John took that in, of course. He joined me on the stage and played underneath my vocal. Maybe 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand'? That would have been cute. But instead he went in for the kill and played an incredibly creative avant-garde guitar that nobody in the world had ever heard before or since. The audience didn't react to it. I was probably the only musician who was totally impressed by it. But did I express my appreciation? John loved 'Cambridge 1969'. So for awhile, he always asked for it to be played when we were in the car. I just thought "Oh, not that one again!" "How about 'Yesterday'?" (a joke). And when I tried to play something else he wouldn't hear of it. Men Who Enjoy Sharing Some men love sharing their wives with other men. This is something I’ve noticed in my work with couples that surprises a lot of people. There are way more men than you’d expect who get genuinely turned on by the idea of their partner being with someone else — what some people call hotwifing or even cuckolding. At first it sounds wild, right? But when you dig into the psychology, it starts to make a strange kind of sense. For a lot of guys, it’s not about feeling inadequate or wanting humiliation. It’s often this powerful mix of pride and trust. Watching or knowing their partner is desired by someone else can feel like the ultimate compliment — like “she’s so sexy that other people want her, and she still chooses me.” There’s also this intense erotic charge that comes from breaking a really deep cultural taboo around possession and jealousy. It taps into something primal too — that sperm competition instinct (which is a real thing by the way) gets mixed with the thrill of seeing your partner fully in her pleasure. And at the core of it all is an incredible level of emotional safety. You can’t even entertain the fantasy unless you feel rock-solid in the relationship. What fascinates me most is how it flips the usual script about what makes intimacy “safe.” For some couples, leaning into this fantasy actually brings them closer because it requires radical honesty and communication most relationships never touch. Of course it’s not for everyone, and it only works when both people are genuinely into it. But I’ve seen it become a really freeing, exciting chapter for couples who explore it thoughtfully. Have you ever come across this fantasy in your OWN relationship or heard about it from friends? Does it intrigue you, scare you, or just make you curious? Have you done it? Would you do it? Drop your honest thoughts in the comments. Let’s hear them!

Kings of the Road (1976, Wenders) "'Kings of the Road' (1976) is a story that you're not often told in films about men. The story of the absence of women, which is at the same time the story of the longing for their presence!" --- Wim Wenders Full Excerpt: "'Kings of the Road' (1976) is the story of two men, but it doesn't take a Hollywood approach to the subject. American films about men - especially recent ones - are exercises in suppression: the men's true relationships with women, or with each other, are displaced by story, action and the need to entertain. They leave out the real nub: why the men prefer to be together, why they get on with each other, why they don't get on with women, or, if they do, then only as a pastime. My film is about precisely that: two men getting on together, each preferring the other's company to that of a woman. You get to see the shortcomings of both of them, their emotional insecurity; you see them trying to be mutually supportive and to hide their faults. But with the passage of time they're no longer bothered by these faults, and when they know each other well enough they begin discussing them. As a consequence of that, they split up. They split up because, on their journey across Germany, they've suddenly grown too close. It's a story that you're not often told in films about men. The story of the absence of women, which is at the same time the story of the longing for their presence!" ('The Logic of Images, Essays and Conversations, Wim Wenders, 1988)

AGAIN, I will never stop sharing this. And I’ll never understand why it wasn’t highlighted and played before the jury. The old man that walked around the confrontation, was in a conversation with John immediately before, then walked around it all and went outside and had a long conversation with BA, BH, NA and CA. He knows! Furthermore, this tied the whole thing together like the end of a movie. It was the missing piece. They all lied and never mentioned it. Why? JM was standing there talking to Karen. So… 11:32pm: BH texts KR “ummmmm…well?” 11:57pm - 11:58pm: BH gives John the middle finger, yells across the room at him, is held back by CA, gestures for JO to come outside. 12:11am: John walks out with the rocks glass and is seen for the last time alive as he heads to 34F. 12:20am: BH, despite saying he never talked to John, didn’t know John was going to 34F and didn’t talk to him as he left, he texts what’s now known as a challenge, not an invite, “are you coming???” 12:21am: John arrives at 34F and goes straight to the basement. 12:30am: KR pulls away from 34F. 12:32am: John’s phone stops moving. 12:36am: KR connected to John’s WiFi. 2:22am: BA “butt dials” BH which was immediately returned by another “butt dial” from BH and they have a :22 call. 2:27am: JM gets home and googles “hos long to die in cold?” 6:03am: John is found beaten and dead on the lawn of 34F. How is this not the most obvious thing ever? But I will also never understand why this wasn’t highlighted. These are some of the most brilliant litigators in the country, so I’m holding hope they had a very good reason why not. #karenread #freekarenread

WATCH | We managed to get photos of the two men who have been scamming people using fake money. The men drive around in a Silver Toyota Hilux Double cab. The person who sent us the video was also one of their victims, and his colleague recorded the men’s faces while they were trying to scam someone else. The victim said that in October 2025, the two men scammed him of US$1,600 in Mt Pleasant, Harare. He explained that the men came to the service station where he works and asked him to help them exchange their money. They told him they had between US$1,500 and US$2,000 in US$20 notes, and they wanted solid cash in US$50 and US$100 notes. He said that after he got US$1,600, the men gave him US$20 notes worth the same amount. While he was counting the money, the men started arguing with each other, saying their money was short by US$20. They asked him to return all the money so they could count it again together. He said that at that moment, it felt like they used some trick on him, because he agreed to give the money back without thinking. When they counted the money again, everything looked correct, and one of the men tied the money with a rubber band. The victim said he did not understand what trick they used, because later he realised that he was only left with US$20 and the rest of the notes were bond notes. The men then ran away in their car. He also said the car’s number plates were being changed often, and at his workplace the car had plates AFP 0516. Zimbabwe Republic Police

YOKO ONO: ONOCHORD, VENICE, 2004 Yoko: The world is divided in two industries. One is the War Industry and the other is the Peace Industry. The people in the War Industry are totally together. They don't have to talk to each other, even. They know exactly what they want to do. They want to go out there, kill and make money. But the people in the Peace Industry, which are us - we are so idealistic that each one of us criticises the other Peace Person in the Peace Industry. And we are always just arguing and we are wasting our energies doing that. So let's just forgive each other and see that we are in the Peace Industry and that's all that counts. Even if you are not marching for peace, just be yourself, being a florist, being a merchant, being a talior, anything. That way you're contributing to the Peace Industry. People are just concentrating on fear, confusion and anger. And therefore just for a moment, I'd like us to think about Love. In a very magical, straight way, John and I met in London and from then on we stood for Peace and Love. And when I do this kind of event. Well it is... I was inspired to do it, but I still think that I'm still with John in spirit. John and I created the country called Nutopia. Not Utopia, because there was Utopia as a concept already. And we wanted to create a new concept, so we just added N on it - Nutopia - and as a country. Well, that is the concept of a country. And we all are citizens of that country. And in my apartment in the Dakota Building, we put a little plaque on the back door, the kitchen door. It says 'Nutopian Embassy' and even now we have that. (laughs). Nutopia exists in our minds. And because of that, some people want to rebel against it. The reason some want to rebel against it is a good proof that it exists. I think that it was a terrible thing that happened in Chechnya. But we have to still keep our hopes up. And instead of giving up, we have to keep on sending the message of Love to each other. You say that I am the Ambassador of Peace. We are all Ambassadors of Peace. You are too. Everybody in this room are Ambassadors of Peace. Just the fact that we are not participating in War. The fact that we are here, and we are what we are, means that we are in the Peace Industry. All of us. John and I used to say that our apartment in the Dakota is a conceptual monastry, just for the two of us. And when we go out of the Dakota, we get so many people communicating with us, so it's very important that we had silence and quietness. And my apartment is a very small space compared to the world. And I need that for my peace of mind. You should be kind to each other. You should come together, hug each other, love each other, express our love to each other and we should make it work. We should finally create a world that is a totally an Earth for Us. So let's do it.
