1,400+ trucks of humanitarian aid remain uncollected by international organizations and the United Nations on the Gazan side of the Kerem Shalom Crossing. We have extended the hours of the daily, tactical pauses along the Salah al-Din Road, for humanitarian purposes, in which international organizations and U.N. trucks can collect the aid. These steps are in addition to the increased effort to transfer Egyptian trucks from the Rafah Crossing through the Kerem Shalom Crossing into Gaza following security checks.

There is a process of passing the humanitarian aid to Gaza. Once all aid has got clearance, it is loaded in lorries and enters into the Gaza Strip. We are committed to increasing the amount of humanitarian aid transferred daily into Gaza. The IDF is working closely with our partners at Ministry of Defense, COGAT and U.S. Central Command, we are preparing to receive a temporary floating pier and to organize the space for receiving humanitarian aid directly, in Gaza. The area of the project covers around 67 acres which are allocated for the operation and the passage of large amounts of goods to the field. The temporary floating pier, through which the humanitarian aid will be transferred, is being built by the U.S. and will be connected to the Gaza shore.
