🇺🇦🇷🇺‼️🚨 RUSSIA DESTROYED TOYOTA SPARE PARTS Russia destroyed a warehouse of spare parts of Toyota-Ukraine, the official importer and distributor of Toyota and Lexus cars. Toyota Ukraine: "As a result of the attack on the night of August 4-5, a warehouse of spare parts and related goods of Toyota-Ukraine was lost. Our team is already implementing measures to restore logistics and ensure stable supplies to the Toyota dealer network in Ukraine. Alternative logistics solutions are used to minimize the impact on customer service." They are most likely doing this to complicate Toyota SUV military vehicle maintenance.

A spokesperson for a driver’s association has warned that a collapse of the Abossey Okai spare parts businesses is imminent, as driver unions are currently pursuing alternative means of sourcing vehicle parts. He said this has become necessary, as efforts to negotiate price reductions have proved futile.

Some trotro drivers have expressed their frustration over the recent directive for a reduction in transport fares. They explained that despite the decrease in prices of certain goods, their vehicle owners have not reduced the daily sales targets they are expected to meet. As a result, lowering fares negatively impacts their earnings. Additionally, some drivers pointed out that the cost of spare parts remain high, making it difficult for them to operate affordably. They are therefore calling on the government to reduce the prices of spare parts to help ease their burden and make it more feasible to lower transport fares.
