Busta Rhymes played the Dilla-Gence 2 album with J Dilla Sunday night in Chicago. Busta said the album should be out very soon, they’re just waiting on a few samples to clear. The album sounded great so far. Ma Dukes on the intro. (Event by John Monopoly, hosted by Add-2)

‘Parked Car Conversations’ is the song that set us off on this amazing journey of creating an album of the same name! This is a very very special song to us and we can’t wait to share it! The song will be yours on Friday and the album will be yours this month on April 26th!🧡

J. Dilla and Madlib are Jaylib. Here they are together in '04 performing “No Games,” which samples Cortex’s “Huit Octobre 1971,” a song that went on to become one of the most heavily sampled pieces in modern hip-hop.

💬: ‘twin’ is about someone…FOR SURE j: that song is very special to me, it may be the most personal song…being truthful on that song gave me a clear thought on how I felt about that relationship, i’m writing my letter to you.

Kanye samples 'Close to You' on Bully track 3. This song features prominently in this scene in the Simpsons movie. Marge tells Homer she can no longer tolerate his unhinged behavior. She takes the kids & leaves him alone in Alaska
