@AngelMD1103 When a tornado’s that close, you don’t get a perfect plan—you just move and hope it’s enough. Those guys got incredibly lucky.

Holly cow that was scary. That Mustang almost didn’t make it. They made the right last second decision and luckily that concrete building held up like a bunker. Kudos to the builder and architect. Any other decision could have turned out much worse.

The difference between before and after is crazy. Big trees just gone in a matter of seconds.

This happened in Little Rock Arkansas on March 31, 2023. The building they are in was actually pretty well built and partially built into the ground I believe. A fire station was destroyed in the area as well.

That’s the nature of Tornadoes. My grandmother always said, “This is a get right with God time and keep praying it skips over your home”.

To answer question, always “hunker” down, as in do not drive and get into the most lowest center of the house that has no windows, basement is best. Category 4-5 can completely wipe out your home, but barely damage your neighbors home 100 yards away.

This is my all time fav tornado video. It not only shows the intensity of a tornado but the guy filming is so CALM! I seriously say to myself “there goes my shed” when I’m trying not to freak out about stupid shit. If only most of us could be that level headed and calm in life

“If you suddenly saw a tornado heading toward you with only seconds to react….” We’re burying the lede Why would there be ‘only seconds’ to react? Any person with a nano-ounce of common sense would’ve already heard the warnings, saw the sky, and at the very least, looked up.🤷‍♀️

Not filmed in the South. The men would have grabbed beers and headed back outside to watch.

Wow! What it did to the landscape is unbelievable in only 60 seconds holy macaroni. There would be no way to outrun a beast tornado 🌪 moving that fast. I always heard get as low to the ground if you're outside or in a building. Never want to be in that! We...have earthquakes!

My son and I were on a chase a couple of years ago. We were about a half mile away from the tornado and the wind was still so strong, I had to do a closed grip lat pull to get the dang thing closed

10/10 can confirm as a life long member of tornado ally. We (stupidly, I'll admit it) stand outside and watch that fucker come right for us until we run to shelter at the very last minute.

It would be easy to call out the defense for this one, but the issue is complete lack of game management. It’s been an issue for years and it must improve. There are 10-15 passes that second half where Utd really would have benefited from controlling the game more — but lose possession from bad decisions. Like, 60 minutes into the game when Everton has pinned us down in our own end and we are up 1-0, it is impossible to justify from a risk/reward perspective to try to make a low percentage pass in behind the defense to a Sesko running down towards the corner flag just after we have won possession. All United fans knows how it feels like when you are down a goal against City and they just play off 15-20 minutes. How can they be so good at it? Check the videos from the City documentary. I couldn’t find the best clip I’ve seen, but the below is a good example. Pep is absolutely losing his mind after players losing possession of the ball. In another video he literarily starts to cry. United doesn’t have to become City II. But this is an area we just must improve and it’s long long overdue. It really is as simple as this. If you are patient and get enough players up pitch — the opponent must defend with the same numbers. If you lose the ball in that position when the opponent is defending with 10 players in the lap of their keeper — it is very hard for an opponent to counter attack on you effectively. So you get every chance to win the ball back even if you lose it. When we have a lead in a game like this — we just can’t help ourselves. Give it 15 seconds and a Dalot or Maguire or Rashford or Bruno or Cunha or Mbuemo will try a play to get into a scoring chance. This must improve and it must improve soon.
