NEW: Bodycam footage obtained by FOX45 shows Maryland State Delegate Caylin Young (D) stating that he's "ON TOP" of the law while confronting police during a domestic dispute on New Year's Eve. Young, who had previously been charged with assault in 2023, was also accused of punching a woman less than 24 hours after this confrontation with police. Both those charges were dropped by prosecutors. Two weeks after the New Year's incident, Young resigned from his position in Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott's "Equity and Civil Rights" office. Young is STILL an active Maryland delegate.

Video shows fireworks exploding and tear gas being deployed toward protesters. An ICE officer shot a man in the leg after allegedly being attacked by three men with a snow shovel and a broom handle during an arrest operation, according to the Department of Homeland Security. All three men, who DHS says were from Venezuela and were in the U.S. illegally, were arrested and taken into ICE custody. Both the officer and the man shot were taken to the hospital. The shooting came exactly one week after ICE officer Jonathan Ross fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Good in south Minneapolis.
