All of us experience grief in our lives. It hides around each corner lurking for us in the most unexpected ways. I don’t mind feeling grief now because with it came love. A totally new type of love for a sick dog called Tina. I’ve been asked 500 times about Tina recently in person and am a master at changing the subject. “Oh a great girl and she had a wonderful end to her life. Where you from? It’s a lovely day today isn’t it”. The only time my true emotions came out were at an event with 400 people when someone asked me about her. I couldn’t change the subject as everybody was looking at me. The tears came quickly with nowhere to hide. I’ve just now sat on my sofa this evening, with Jumbo, home alone been able to look at old pictures and videos of Tina. I miss her so much. I miss her smell. Her wet nose. Her pretty face. Changing her bandanas. Her lovely fur. Riding on the bike with her. Everything. I’ve a fire in my belly now to do things to remember Tina by. She was put on this earth for a reason and although her time was short she made a huge impact on people all over the world. Many of these little videos I hadn’t shared before and were from my personal ones In her last days. She was happy right until the very very last second of her life. 🥰

Went outside for a walk an hour ago and saw this cute dog running down the road in distress. No collar. No identification. Scared as hell and shaking. Honestly, it looks like an abused dog. I chased her out of the road, she tried to bite me and wouldn’t let me put a leash on her for like 30 min, but now she’s calming down and she’s inside my place (hope she doesn’t have fleas…oh well!) Going to try to find her a home and get her some medical attention. Poor thing. She looks so scared. One thing you should all know about me is that I am a total sucker for stray dogs. Never met a stray dog I didn’t stop to help. Wish I had my own animal rescue so I could live my life in peace with animals. I pray this dog can find a good home and that she’s only scared and not seriously ill or injured so she can enjoy the rest of her life with a loving owner. For now, she’s staying with me. Going to have her brought to a no kill shelter so they can give her some medical care and a bath.

11 years ago today @GoldieBabu came to Minnesota from a high kill shelter in Missouri. She was out of time after spending 3 months there. I was determined to just foster her until she was adopted…as I had just started my company and had no time or money for a dog. Of course, it was love at 1st sight. Goldie laid it on THICK. Constantly nudging me for pets, laying ON TOP of me, and just begging for love. I’ve now realized she wasn’t acting, that’s just the loving girl she was and all she wanted was a home to feel safe in. I was a foster parent fail within 5 minutes of meeting her. I always celebrate her birthday (she’ll be 14) on the day I adopted her which is 2/23. I hope she makes it another month…but until then, this old lady will get all the things. Today, she got her 1st McDonald’s cheeseburger. I cut it in half so she could at least get 2 bites. Poor girl can’t walk very well and you can see her shaking at the end…but she certainly loved her anniversary meal 😂💕.

I found this on Instagram with the following caption: ‘For those speaking on why My Daughter walked with the baby My Daughter asked permission prior to the graduation and they told her no that she could not walk with her baby because it was a liability, but guess what? When the time came there were other students that walked the stage, holding their child or sibling, and when I saw that as her mother, I went towards My Daughter and gave her her child and she too walk the stage with her daughter with glee so aside from dumb stealing money from her and we are talking over $2000 there was also a ceremony prior to this graduation. I had My Daughter not called to find out if she was on the list. My Daughter would have attended along with her family and her name would have never gotten called. They had her go through different teachers just to be able to get the OK to attend her own ceremony. You guys have no idea what this School has put My Daughter through. They need to be audited and they need to be shut down immediately. I can guarantee you they are stealing from other students and I pray to God that this video goes viral and My Daughter gets the justice that she deserves. What a day. What a journey. Last game of the season. The conference finals. Emmy pitches best game of her life. 0 hits. 0 runs. 0 walks. 9Ks in a 5 inning shutout. So many emotions between dad and her throughout the years. Lots of stressful car rides home. Huge texts from me criticizing and more. Just a dad being pretty hard. But I never gave up on her. Never missed a game. Never missed a practice. Always her biggest fan. And after all these years, I know now she knows it. She gets it. And still loves me for it, I hope. Through the years some coaches gave up on her. Never thought she would make it as a pitcher. She didn't throw textbook 60+. Took away her chances. Made things harder than they should've been. But she never gave up. And some coaches didn't either. And that's amazing. It's so hard being a pitcher. Having so much on your shoulders. Having all eyes on you. Worst part of today was her boyfriend seeing me with a few tears lol. But I think he did too. And Julie did for sure. So happy for you Emmy. You did it. First perfect game. In the biggest game of your life! Thank you Mangos for a fantastic year. Wonderful memories that will last forever.

MNAKUMBUKA HUYU? This is Mercy Karimi, a young woman I rescued from the streets of Nairobi CBD about two months ago after several people reached out to me asking for help. Mercy had been living on the streets for more than four years but now she is in a safe place ,thats Rapid Rehabilitation Centre for Addiction. If you look at Mercy today and compare her with how she was when I first found her, you will notice a remarkable difference. She was in a very difficult condition, living on the streets and battling illness. She had also been attacked, and sanitizer had been poured into one of her eyes, leaving it in a very bad condition. I stepped in, rescued her, took her to hospital for medical attention, and later took her to a rehabilitation centre, where she has been admitted and continues with her rehabilitation programme. Mercy is still on her recovery journey, but I am happy to say that she is doing much better. Her progress may take time, but every small improvement is a reason to be grateful. I will continue supporting Mercy throughout her rehabilitation, and once she completes the programme, I will also help her reunite with her family and support her as she begins the next chapter of her life. I will keep updating you on her journey because this is not just about rescuing someone from the streets; it is about helping them rebuild their life and giving them hope for a better future. Sometimes, all someone needs is one person to believe in them and give them a second chance. Let us never give up on people simply because they have fallen on hard times. A helping hand today can change someone’s entire tomorrow. ❤️

This has been an ongoing thing with her, mind you all I will say is "ok grandma" and walk in my room with my baby and shut the door but that's not enough she literally follows me into the room just to threaten me atp idc no more I'm exposing her, same lady that was beating me with extension cords, punching my teeth out my mouth, all while I'm only on fucking elementary school up until 15. This lady has abused me my whole life her and my mom. I only came to South Carolina with her so I can have support from my family with her but she drew all the support I had away and she barley helps me so right now I don't know what I'm going to do, or where me and my baby going to go but we need to move asap. I've been going through the videos I have with Ciera, and I'd like to share this one with you all. This was at the end of April, we'd been staying in hospital awaiting MRI results, and the next day was an EEG scan and blood testing. It was an incredibly anxious and stressful time for myself and the people close to us. However, my darling girl kept a smile on her face and showed me and the nursing staff what an angel she is. Here she is doing one of her favourite things, assisted clapping! Ciera cannot walk or talk, and she will most likely stay that way for a while, but I am determined to help her as much as I can, and work with her so she reaches her full potential. And of course, make sure she keeps smiling. I love you so much, Ciera Grace. 🩷

Caller: "Okay. So, I've been with my wife for, we've been together since we were 14, for 14 years. I'm 32, I met her when I was 19, we had a child at 20. And, um, I've always just kind of been a butthead to her, to be honest. And she said it was never anything flirtatious or anything like that. She said it was just a stranger that I could talk to, but she said, 'I broke it off with him, and I'm gonna focus on us. And I said, 'I'm all in with you, let's rebuild this.' And we went about two weeks and it was just absolute honeymoon phase. I mean, we were just, never it was great. And then I went through her phone two weeks after that and found that she was on Snapchat with the guy. And I confronted her about it, and she said, 'Okay, well, I didn't think you were really gonna change, and I wanted to keep this friendship with the guy.' And she said, 'I'll break it off with him.' And I'm like, 'Okay, I guess I'll give you a second chance. I'm kind of heartbroken again that you would keep this from me. And then about a week and a half later, which was just yesterday, I went through the call logs on which, I feel bad because I'm constantly digging at all this, but every time I dig, I find something. And I confronted her yesterday that she's been talking to this guy for 30, 40, 50 minutes a day, um, the last week and a half, after she told me a third time that she was breaking it off with him. And I'm just super confused. I don't really know how to handle this. Now she's saying that she's all done talking to him, and I'm like, 'Well, how do I trust you now? I genuinely cannot understand how someone can watch this story and still stand there, looking at two women, and somehow decide that the wrong one is the victim. On one side, you have a girl (Yıldız) who has been mistreated her entire life. Since the moment she was born, she was treated like a sacrifice for a conflict she was never even part of and later we find out that this conflict never even existed. Her right to study was taken from her. She was pushed into a marriage at a very young age just imagine being six, seven, eight years old, living in fear of being tied to someone you don’t even know. She was treated like a servant in her own home, by the very people she thought were her family. And just when she gets close to the happiness she dreamed of, the man she was engaged to shows up with another wife. She gets mistreated by that wife, by his family, and even (unintentionally) by him, because he was trying to run away from his own feelings, and that only caused her more heartbreak. The whole world was literally against her. She fought through all of that, only to find out in the end that everything she suffered for was based on something that wasn’t even real. Her entire life was built on a lie. That she isn’t even part of that family that she has literally no one in this world. Now on the other side… You have a girl (Melek) who, yes, was taken from her biological mother but she was raised by loving parents. She had everything anyone could wish for: education, freedom, a happy childhood, a healthy environment. She lived her life, fell in love, went out, made choices and no one questioned her, no one controlled her. And then what did she do? She found out that her man was engaged to another woman before marrying her (and even saw him marry her) and instead of holding on to her dignity, she chose to stay, to fight for a man who lied to her, to hold onto a marriage he tried to end multiple times. She used her unborn child to keep him tied to her. She lied constantly, and her excuse was that she was “protecting her marriage” a marriage that was already broken from the moment Serhat removed that ring at the airport in episode one. She tried to hand Yıldız (a woman who had already suffered enough) over to dangerous people. Then she found out the truth about her own birth (that her father ra*ped her mother.)And still no empathy. No moment of humanity toward her own mother. All she cared about was herself. And even though none of this had anything to do with Yıldız, she still found a way to blame it on her. Instead of holding her father accountable, she went and made a deal with him to get rid of Yıldız. She literally made a deal with the devil just to hurt Yıldız one more time. And after all of that… you want me to feel sorry for her? You want me to call her a victim? I honestly cannot believe we are living on the same planet with people who see this and still say, “she’s the victim.” Not morally. Not logically. Not emotionally. Police called out to a residence just in time to witness an entitled woman drive her car into the home of her parents over a money dispute. ​Officers were called to a residential neighborhood after reports that a daughter, Chloe, was throwing a massive tantrum because her parents wouldn't give her more cash. According to her mother, they had already given her $1,000, but Chloe claimed it wasn't enough. ​When her parents drew the line, Chloe locked herself inside her black Jeep right in the driveway. Responding officers spent several minutes trying to de-escalate the situation, pleading with her to roll down the window, step out, and talk to them like an adult. ​Chloe’s response? She told officers she simply "didn't care" if they broke her windows or sent her to jail. ​ ​While an officer was actively on the phone with her father trying to figure out a peaceful solution, Chloe decided to take things to a dangerous new level. She started the ignition, put the Jeep in drive, and deliberately accelerated directly into her parents' brick home, smashing right into the garage structure. ​With the vehicle turned into a weapon, officers immediately moved in, shattered the driver-side window, and pulled her out of the car. Even while being handcuffed on the grass, the hostility didn't stop—she proceeded to spit at and kick one of the arresting officers. ​The situation somehow got even worse after she was taken into custody. 💔❤️ FROM BEING ABANDONED, TERRIFIED, TO THIS…Beautiful Shannon ❤️ Just two Fridays ago, a poor dog was tied to a bush in Dublin city, right across from busy Heuston Station. On a Friday night, with crowds passing by, she coward there for hours, so scared, confused, and completely unsure of what was happening to her. It was heartbreaking to witness. With the help of some incredibly kind people who stayed with her and kept her safe until we arrived, we were finally able to bring her to safety. And look at her now… it’s like night and day. Shannon is unbelievable. She loves to play, she adores cuddles, and her beautiful personality is shining through more and more each day. This is what rescue is about. This is why we endure the heartbreak. Why we face criticism and cruelty from narrow-minded people. Why we put ourselves on the line for animals who have no one else. Because a result like Shannon is worth every tear, every sleepless night, and every ounce of anguish.
