C/INF Anthony Seigler is an ambidextrous (!!) depth addition who should instantly compete for a role on the major league roster with the Red Sox. The 26yo was a dynamic offensive producer at the Triple-A level last season: ⚾️ .285/.414/.478 ⚾️ .892 OPS ⚾️ 17% BB / 19% K ⚾️ .379 xwOBA ⚾️ 143 wRC+ Seigler absolutely feasted on RHPs in Triple-A last season, boasting a diabolical .983 OPS and more BBs (43) than Ks (42) in 246 PAs. He also turned in quality rates in terms of zCon (84%), SwStr (9%), chase (20%), and HH (46%) and was an above average baserunner. Another thing Seigler does exceptionally well is rake against fastballs. He turned in a .529 SLG and .408 xwOBA against FA-types in '25, plus was able to maintain that elite production against velo, slashing .326/.436/.587 against FA-types of 94+ mph in Triple-A. Seigler enters camp as a dark horse to make the 26-man roster. Despite mainly seeing time at 3B with the Brewers, he's had experience dabbling in some 2B/OF/C work in the minors. I should note, Baseball America rated Seigler as the Yankees' top defensive catching prospect back in 2019. He hasn't been able to show all that much behind the plate while moving around, but perhaps there's more to tap into here. He is reunited with old friend, Tyson Blaser. Seigler's versatility and platoon potential should give him a shot to crack the roster. If not, I'm very confident we see him making an impact at some point in '26. I'm very excited about this addition as well.

He can’t admit the end to this war is good because Israel won yet another war THAT THEY DID NOT START… just like EVERY OTHER WAR IN ISRAEL’S HISTORY! This war started on October 7th—on the holiday of Simchat Torah—with Palestinians committing genocide against Israelis and Israel. There is no better moral justification for engaging in war than responding to an act of genocide committed against your people. Eric DuBose and co. have been on a different level on the mound, allowing no more than six runs in a game and allowing two or fewer runs in 6 of 10 games. These numbers as a staff in 10 games are impressive: 2.33 ERA 1.02 WHIP .197 Batting Average Against 75 Ks to 30 walks in 85 innings It all starts with Freshman Blake Westry, who has now logged back-to-back 5 inning scoreless appearances, including the series finale today. He has a 0.71 ERA over 12.2 innings. The success continues out of the bullpen with Camden Lyke, who hasn't allowed an earned run in 4 appearances. #D2Baseball

I thought ZZZ was just a chill and cozy game with all the goofy vibes from these characters, but it does get serious when it really wants to, and I think that’s what makes it so fun and easy to get into. The combat is by far my favorite thing about this game. The music… maybe a little. It could be better. The voice acting is excellent, and I love how they bring these characters to life. They’re doing a great job portraying their personalities and struggles. I especially love Koleda and her not so mecha battle against that unknown monster. She’s a construction worker, and seeing her use the construction machine her father built for her to defeat that monster was so hype. I love her. I can’t wait to play more of this game!

I don’t get on here much anymore, but still have a bunch of friends who have always shown interest in the boys so I thought I’d share a video of Roman from last night. Let me set the stage first… Roman is a freshman at Fishers HS, which happens to have the best boys program in the state (there’s a reason he chose to go there with our support)—they’ll start the season #1 and the coaching staff is next level. He’ll be playing a combo JV and freshman this year, which allows him to practice against two of the best guards in the state every day—both will be playing high level D1 in a couple of years. The perfect set up for him to continue to pursue his goals, assuming he puts in the work. Last night was the season kickoff night and Roman got to participate in the three point shootout (he didn’t tell me he’d be doing this) and after sitting for 30-plus minutes because only varsity participated in everything prior to the 3-point contest, he took two shots and did this… 22 threes in 60 seconds—tying the best shooter on the team and forcing a shootout where he lost 10-12 in 30 seconds. As you can hear, Silas and I were hyped for him. I know this doesn’t meant anything as there’s more to the game than standstill shooting, but I also know it doesn’t mean nothing.

2B Henry Godbout (Virginia Baseball) is a college bat to keep a close eye on this season. Following a solid Freshman season—and an impressive showing in the Northwoods League—Godbout exploded last year to the tune of a .372/.472/.645 slash line with 18 2B, 9 HR, 47 RBIs and more BB (29) than Ks (20). Across a brief 9-game stint on the Cape, Godbout went 11-for-36 (.306) with 3 2B, 1 HR, and 9 RBIs. Athletic build at 6'2" and 190-lbs with some length in the lower-half and budding physicality. Fairly upright stance in the box with an open front side. High handset, hands start pretty far back. Minimal load, leg lift leads into a normal stride. Generates effortless plus bat speed, head stays quiet and level throughout his operation. Consistent quick and tight turns with his hips. Does a great job of working inside the baseball. Just a real hitterish look. Godbout's calling card is his hit tool. Pull-oriented approach, but will occasionally work to the opposite field. Hand eye coordination is outstanding. Highly advanced feel for the barrel that he pairs with plus (closer to a 70 than a 60) bat-to-ball skills and a polished approach. Ran a 92% overall IZ contact rate last spring, including 95% against FB, 91% against SL and 90% against CB. Feasts on heaters - contact rate against all FB was 95%. No issues with velo, either. Hit .556 against all FB 93+. Would stick a 60 on his hit tool. Godbout has some impact to the pull side, which is where all of his HR power (at least right now) comes from. Last year's Max EV of 106.4 doesn't necessarily jump off the page, but there's potentially more impact on the way and you're buying the hit tool. Raw power right now is a tick below average (avg. to pull side). Godbout is a strong defender at 2B, where he is a safe bet to stick professionally. OF RJ Austin (Vanderbilt Baseball) is an intriguing college hitter in this year's Draft. Carved out an every day role as a Freshman and collected 18 XBH with 43 RBIs, but had a breakout summer on the Cape to the tune of a .327/.426/.376 slash line with 13 RBIs in 29 games. Carried that momentum over into last season where he hit .335/.402/.471 with 14 2B, 5 HRs, 54 RBIs and 28 SB. Earned an invitation to Team USA, but had a strong 15-game stint on the Cape and hit .321/.361/.536 with 6 2B, 2 HRs and 9 RBIs. Strong, athletic build at 5'11" and 193-lbs with plenty of natural strength. Stands fairly tall in the box with his knees slightly bent and a tight base with a slightly open front side. Austin has lowered his handset a bit since last spring, and he now has more of a medium-high handset. Barrel tip in his load is accompanied by his hands drifting. High leg kick leads into a rather lengthy stride. Quick hands and easy plus bat speed. Athletic look, rotates well. Austin's hit tool has taken positive strides since the start of his college career, and last year he posted an overall contact rate of 82% and an IZ contact rate of 91% (including 94% against FB). Present feel for the barrel. Approach and swing decisions still need some fine-tuning, and Austin is susceptible to FBs in the top and outer-1/3 as well as secondaries down-and-away. Very pull-oriented approach. Would give it a 50, probably closer to a 55 than a 50. Austin's also a strong kid with more impact in the tank than his 12 career HRs might suggest. All of his HR power has come to the pull side, but he needs to get the ball up in the air more. Posted a Max EV of 110 last spring. There are some ingredients to work with here, but has to lift the baseball on a more regular basis. Power plays as a 45 in-game. Has had limited experience in the OF to this point, but will roam CF this spring for Vanderbilt. Got a fair amount of run out there this summer on the Cape. Austin's speed and athleticism both translate to the position—he can go and get it—but the reads and route running will need refinement. Fringe-average arm.
