Despite the appearance, empty modern fridges aren't that heavy. That cast iron coldspot from the 1950s in my garage, on the other hand, takes 3 guys just to move it away from the wall.

That's impressive. I watched a washer and dryer being delivered to my daughter's house. The man picked up the dryer from the back of the truck, threw it on his shoulder, and carried it to the house by himself. That was impressive. It's not that it weighs a ton, but it's so large and bulky.
