She is a critically endangered Himalayan Brown Bear, with only 300 members of the species estimated to be left in the wild. She was born in 1998, exploited by a circus, left in a small cage for 7 years. Finally in 2019 she was sent to the sanctuary. Our pilot and SWT/KWS Anti-Poaching Team spotted this pack during an aerial patrol last week. The team landed and went to have a closer look — as you can see, the dogs were keen to investigate us, too! Besides a few pesky burrs, this pack is thriving and in peak health.
