Our team had to gently lift her up… and even then, her legs were trembling, struggling to hold her weight. This is what years of suffering does. Today… Willow ran after me. When I gave her breakfast and turned to leave, she followed me, gently leaning in, not wanting me to go. I had tears in my eyes. This is what love, patience, and care can do. She is now comfortable with all of us—me, Priya, the whole team. But her condition is still very serious. The other day we rescued 4 donkeys… Nova was one of them. ❤️ Thanks to amazing supporters like you, we managed to cover her long transport journey from another city and finally bring her home safely after travelling all day. Nova is pregnant… and her condition is heartbreaking. Her leg is severely infected and her hoof is almost completely gone. The damage is so deep that it may never regrow properly. Because she is carrying a baby, we have to be extremely careful with every treatment, every medicine, and every step of her care. But despite everything she has suffered… there is still hope and comfort in her eyes. She is so gentle, so loving, and finally safe under our care. All 4 rescued donkeys are in extremely critical condition and will need very long treatment and care.
