I hope you are able to see how these reels are making paid journalism redundant. They are a true reflection of what happening as compared to the concocted stories that you guys play. Calling a protest a “Reels studio” is just a way to distract from the actual issue. Peaceful protest is a democratic right. People carrying cameras doesn’t make their demands any less genuine. And the absence of fear of FIRs or arrests doesn’t mean the law is “toothless.

Content creation is a profession but like other professions it requires discipline and responsibility. Protestors at Jantar Mantar are abusing police, dancing for views and misrepresenting themselves as journalists. Such behaviour undermines the credibility of content creation.
