I always wanted to play Division 1 football. People didn’t think I had what it takes. My high school team was cut my senior year forcing me to transfer to a new school midseason. I had no stars out of high school and went to JUCO. I left JUCO early with no offers and bet on myself. I showed up to the front doorsteps of many D1 schools and never heard back. At times I felt lost, but I never gave up. Through perseverance, I eventually got the opportunity to not just play against D1 opponents on ESPN but play against my old JUCO coach Andrew Sparano Lamar University Football on ESPN. I’m also fortunate enough to have gotten the opportunity to play against future FBS opponent Kennesaw State Football and finish my season against the #5 FCS team in the nation Florida A&M Football 🏈. I’m forever thankful for this game. This game has helped me develop as a man and build character traits that I will use the rest of my life.
