Two things that stand out on the end zone angle from Boutte's first TD: 1. Henderson picking up the blitz off the edge and 2. Maye transitioning up into the pocket. Vrabel has spoken about Maye sliding up in the pocket more, and Henderson showing some growth in pass pro.

Big reason why I'm pro-Maye scrambles are examples like these in the red zone. 1st clip - Maye scrambles for 8 yards on 3rd-&-3 vs. two-high safeties 2nd clip - 15-yard TD to Stevenson vs. cover-1 with a spy on Maye. Rhamondre wins 1v1. If defenses keep playing two-high, Maye's mobility becomes a huge asset.

So many things that may go unnoticed like him aborting the rush to contain would be swing screens and end arounds. -Mafe collapsing the pocket from either side. Incredible quickness and variety in his pass rush while being stout in the run game. May not always show on the stat sheet but he put a lot of pressure on the 49ers Tackles in this game.
