Megha Ganne is making her pro debut this week at the U.S. Women's Open after helping Stanford win the NCAA title last week. She has been dominant since missing the cut at ANWA. What did she learn that week? "ANWA was cool for me because I have not played that poorly in a big event in a long time, so I guess -- I said this in a prior interview, but there has always been a little pocket of my head where it's like, what happens when you don't play well at a really big tournament. "Maybe not fear is the right word, but just curiosity of what that would look like and how that would affect me. At ANWA I learned the answer, and the answer is absolutely nothing. Life goes on. Then you wake up the next day and go practice and do really well the next venue play."

WHY the hell is some guy taking things down in the tent when Charlie’s blood was still warm on the floor and the CRIME SCENE hasn’t even been processed yet?!?! Whoever that is, he was quite literally TAMPERING WITH CRIME SCENE EVIDENCE! Normally, there would be a HUGE law enforcement presence and they would have the whole area immediately cordoned off with yellow police tape after an event like this while waiting for the Coroner. You wouldn’t be able to get within 100 feet of this scene, not for a second. Instead, it’s like a damn ghost town. THIS IS EXTREMELY BIZARRE & DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE. KEEP ASKING QUESTIONS!!!

Worth a listen: Really interesting insight from #Mizzou wrestling coach Brian Smith on how this transfer portal/NIL era has changed things in the wrestling world. Smith is a MASSIVE culture person & loves seeing young men grow up in his program. That's a reason why 'Tiger Style' is such a recognizable brand. He has embraced & also benefitted from the portal era like other schools, but also wants to prioritize what he believes is one of the most important things in all of this: relationships. "We had 10 seniors this year, graduate and speak at our banquet, and I was like, man, is this going to be like the last time something like this happens?...the good thing is we don't have a lot of people leaving."

Then you accomplish it, then everything else is based off of that, and it’s been that way since 2015. So I think we can reshape the narrative, like knowing in the back of our mind that is the ultimate goal, but we have to get back to the basics of what makes a good, competitive basketball team every single night. We don’t have to keep saying championship, championship, championship every day, even though we’ve experienced that. All of those things, we have to kind of put everything on the drawing board to get back to just being competitive every single night.”

In a normal criminal case every statutory crime has what we call elements of the offense. Like in a bank robbery case you have to rob – it has to be a financial institution, you have to show intent," said former prosecutor Andrew McCarthy. "Those are the things the jury has to agree on unanimously that they were proved beyond a reasonable doubt. Here what we’re doing is taking the element that actually makes this a felony, because remember falsification of records is normally a misdemeanor in New York. What makes it a felony is that you are concealing or committing another crime." "And here the judge is telling them they don’t have to agree about what the other crime is under circumstances where that not only is what makes this a felony, makes it a four-year potential prison penalty rather than a year or less, but it is also what gets us into the courtroom."
