The Yes on 50 campaign says "gerrymandering is bad, so vote for more gerrymandering." No on 50 says, "gerrymandering is bad, so vote against gerrymandering." One of these positions is more logical than the other.

The only reason Newsom can ram his redistricting scheme through the California legislature is that Democrats have a two thirds ‘supermajority.’ But that is also the result of Democrat gerrymandering. There is nothing democratic or legitimate about any of this.

Yesterday I stood proudly with my fellow U.S. House Republicans from Virginia, and with members of the Virginia General Assembly in the State Capitol. We ALL agree that what the democrats in Richmond are trying to do is WRONG. We will not sit idle as they undermine the constitution of our great Commonwealth. Gerrymandering is wrong and Virginia deserves better.
