My experience of Mexico is that the foreground Isn't Even That Bad I've never walked into the truly no-go areas, but I've walked around 'working class' areas of CDMX, Monterrey, Guadalajara, SLP... it's not terrible. Yeah, it's rough and hot and dusty. But it's not awful.

I agree. For the most part, it looks worse from above

Wow

You buy your 2 million dollar condo in Bosque Real and your view is splattered with grey favelas

@VamozalaDisco If there’s no pollution that day

Interesting to the class divide discourse in real time between the two sides of the districts

Until the end of the year

You should see the difference between "La independencia" and "San Pedro Garza Garcia" too, in monterrey, MX.

Not even as far as San Pedro… I stayed in mirador/centro. La independencia is right across the bridge and even that’s day and night

“I don’t want your money!”

Gotta watch this movie again

At least the poor have a home ... In the US the hundreds of tents of homeless are everywhere

Que idiota comentario, como si en la Ciudad de México fuese el único lugar donde se nota las diferentes versiones de las clases sociales.

Eso dije? Ni siquiera dije en qué parte de México es… Cuál es tu problema?

it all looks terrible.

How was this image taken. It looks bad ass

A helicopter

The poorer or more humble version is the overwhelming majority (80 %). Even if we try to sell the idea that the other side is the real one, the Mexican reality is that; just like in the rest of Latin America. We’re an average Latin American country; that’s the truth!

Guadalajara is just like this, got the villas in the lower section and then wealthy homes ontop of a hill looking over the villas

If Mexico broke ties with the USA it would be life changing

No vi la segunda versión 🤔

That part of Mexico City used to be a garbage dump. Due to the city's growth, the dump was closed and the upscale area called Santa Fe was created. The people who lived around it used to make a living by scavenging in the garbage.

Resemblance of South Africa 🇿🇦

And both are amazing!!! You Can find many interesthing things in each place

@grok what movie depicts bosque, real Neighborhood in the state of Mexico

Imagínate estar jugando la reta con tus compas Santi, Eugenio, JP y terminar baleado por un pandillero desde su casa en obra negra

Keeping the poor so close helps to remind you to do not blink. Appreciate what you have and never stop or you go down.

2 versiones de México

Kinda looks like ‘the roofs are red and white’ then signals something different than what it is. Downtown I wouldn’t really walk alone at night, but outside just seems ‘normal ?

In my opinion, these areas aren’t “dangerous” they are just poorer.

It all looks like shit

Played that course in Tj last winter. Nice track.

Wow 😮

Same here in dallas, you buy a 1.5 million condo in uptown by america airlines and your view to west dallas is looking straight to the hood.

Border towns are much worse...this isn't so bad...when I'm in Leon or CDMX it's like I'm still in America...

The have and have not...

Mexico needs a Good Man to be their President.

These are the scenes of most of the developed cities in the world. Two contrasts in the same place.

Just like LA

Same goes with Mumbai.

Los del comienzo del video son los becados del bienestar y los segundos los emprendedores y los que no quieren estar de flojos

This is just Mexico a lot of country’s are like this
