junkyu’s tmi! he finally finished working on a song that he worked on for over a year & a half yesterday! he didn’t get to finish working on it for over a year & a half, but he did it eventually! instead of feeling burnout, he just thought that he strayed far away naturally from working on a song. it’s not like it’s hate or love, but he naturally have something else to focus on other than composing for over a year & a half. he also mentions that the most fascinating thing is that, as time passes, while making a lot of memories with teumes overseas, there’s a lot of new ideas coming in & he gets to organise his thoughts, instead of always just staying at his house/or being in the space that he’s currently in for a year & a half. recently, he was in his studio for the last 3 weeks since there was a situation where he had no choice but to go back there. he said that he gained a lot of things from that situation & is really thankful for the reality. so when he arrived back in Korea, he wrote everything right away as soon as he got in his studio. when he finally completed one song after a very long time, he thought, “right, this kind of excitement”, “I fell in too deeply when it’s related to composing.”

Hamas took 251 of us hostage on October 7, 2023. Included in that number were two boys, Kfir and Ariel Bibas, four years and ten months old respectively. Four separate independent medical examinations have corroborated the finding of the Israeli coroner that those two children were strangled by adult human male hands in a deep, dark hole far away from their parents. Those 251 people were held hostage for hundreds of days without food, without medicine, without even enough oxygen to breathe. I've had the privilege in the last two or three years of meeting with some of these released hostages. One of the things some of them mentioned is despite the fact that the women were being sexually assaulted, despite the fact that the men were being turned upside down and hung from a ceiling and tortured, many of them could think only of about they had enough oxygen to survive. They would gasp for air and would hold it for as long as they could because there was so little oxygen down there. They weren't sure there was enough for the next breath, and the breath after that, and the breath after that. Imagine doing that for one whole hour. Imagine doing it for 24 hours. We are now in the seventh Manvantara. But the commands, the divine commands of the Lord are being followed till this date... Without this divine command we would not have been able to celebrate ratha yatra because Lord Jagannath is mula vigraha... once they are consecrated and installed in the Garbhagriha, they cannot be taken out... But here Lord Jagannath... made this exception that he wished for his pleasure to visit his birthplace..." He adds, "...for nine days this yatra takes place... The Lord goes to His birthplace which is Gundicha Mandapam... from the main temple that is Jagannath temple Puri or Shrimandira. It is about a 2.5 km distance along the main road... to Gundicha Mandapam and there he stays for 7 days... and then on the Dashami Tithi he is again brought back in the chariots to the main temple... to give his grace to all beings... the Lord comes out... it is a very rare occasion to have the direct darshan of the Supreme Lord... for all people... Everyone can come, everyone can celebrate this festival... this great festival has gradually spread to different parts of Odisha... and to many countries outside India. Rath Yatra is now being celebrated in almost all the countries of the world... on the 16th of July this year, Ashadha Shukla Paksha Dwitiya Tithi is the day when Chaturdha Daru vigrahas will start their journey from the main temple... to Gundicha Mandapa. They will stay there for 7 days and on Dashami Tithi... the lords will take the return journey which is known as the Bahuda Yatra from Gundicha temple to the main temple of Jagannath Puri." (10.07)

In the winter of 1994 I partied hard in Hillbrow, Johannesburg. As I waited for my law school results, I knew I had failed and made peace with that, Hence being there every weekend. @therealvinnydavinci was a resident at Arena nightclub in Highpoint and I became an instant fan. He knew my favourite tunes, and would rock them whenever he saw me near the DJ box I relocated to Johannesburg in January 1995. Little did I know that we would become friends and business partners on #FreshHouseFlava. THIS record playing, we picked up in Miami when we were there for the winter music conference in 2001. That trip became funny when vinny lost his passport, and stayed in bed for two days coz he was frustrated 🤣😂😅🥹 CHRISTOS KATSAITIS forced him out of bed and they travelled to D. C to arrange a travel document so vinny could travel back home. SO MANY MEMORIES AND LOVE FOR THIS DUDE!!!
