Children. Children. Children. The mass casualties on our screens. The mass casualties for all those in Gaza. The people who will feel this pain and grief like no other. And when people speak of innocent children, I know they mean well. But the word is simply: children. We should not have to explain to the world, that 4,5,6 year olds are innocent victims. There will never be a justification for the killing of a child. Ever.

They create countless widows who cry themselves to sleep, and orphans who wake up every day asking where their parents have gone. Yet still, they dare to call these wicked acts worship. 😥 How can cruelty be lifted to God as sacrifice? How can bloodshed be mistaken for faith? The Bible reminds us clearly that God is not pleased with violence done in His name. “For the Lord loves justice, and does not forsake His saints” (Psalm 37:28). God hears the cry of the brokenhearted. He sees every tear of the widow and every silent prayer of the orphan. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). To harm the innocent is to stand against God Himself. Scripture says, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20). No act of hatred, no shedding of innocent blood, can ever be called worship before a holy God. Yet even in this pain, we hold on to hope. The God of justice will arise. “He will defend the afflicted among the people and save the children of the needy; He will crush the oppressor” (Psalm 72:4). May God comfort the widows, protect the orphans, heal the wounded, and let His justice speak where human voices have been silenced. Amen.

Let's remember how this war started. It started six months ago today when Hamas fired thousands of rockets at Israelis celebrating the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah. It started when thousands of Hamas terrorists infiltrated into Israel, armed with guns, RPGs and grenades, murdering , raping and kidnapping as many Israelis as they could. The day ended with 1,200 Israeli men, women and children butchered by Hams terrorists. It continues with 134 Israelis who are being held hostage in Gaza under horrific conditions. Hamas started this war and we will not sit by as they threaten to commit another October 7, again and again and again.
