It's so clear as to what has to happen. The president of Harvard has to call the president of the United States, get behind closed doors, and work out a deal. But let me assure you something about these international students. I teach them. These are the smartest students in the world. Harvard is the oldest educational institution. These students are extraordinary individuals and they don't hate America. They want to come here and stay in America and they want to figure out a way that they can start a business in America, and we want them. We want them here. I want to invest in them. When I go back there to teach in the fall, I want the best and brightest because I along with millions of other investors want them to stay in America.

Shuler: As a backdrop, the economy isn’t working for working people right now. We have inequality at its highest levels. People are working harder and harder for less. They’re working two and three jobs just to keep up. In the U.S., 40 percent of workers do not have $400 for an emergency. Now put AI on top of that—the insecurity that we are all experiencing, the fact that people are waking up and some new technology is landing in their jobs without training and without having a say. Of course they’re going to be anxious and feel insecure about what the future holds. And so I really think we need to stop and ask, “Who are we doing this for? What are the results we want? And how do we get there?” We get there by including workers in the process. They shouldn’t have to be at the end of the cycle. They should actually be upstream.

From the students of Harvard, to the youth of Dahieh, to the sons of Nabatieh, and the people of Tyre.” Harvard Medical School graduate Leen Ezzeddine, from the southern Lebanese town of Arabsalim, used her graduation speech to remind her peers of the students in Gaza and southern Lebanon who do not benefit from the same “arbitrary luck and circumstance” that she and her classmates have enjoyed. Ezzeddine said her presence at that podium was “evidence of what survives the border, the bomb, and the exile,” and of “what becomes possible when people the world has tried to erase are allowed to live.”

"If you have ambitions to be a Professor at Yale, Harvard, or one of these big institutions, the way you do that is mostly by getting funding for research. It's by getting a lot of publishing - a lot flying around the world to talk about something. You need all of these things to bolster your reputation as an international expert in this area. Now, the best way to do that, at least in psychiatry but I suspect in other areas of medicine, is actually to collaborate with pharmaceutical companies to run clinical trials. They write the publications for you - most of it, they do a lot of the grunt work, they give you the protocols, and then, essentially, they fund you and fly you around the place. I used to remember, as a junior doctor, looking up to the Professors. And they would say, 'These drugs are safe and effective. There's not a lot of problems there.' ...What I've seen more and more is that they've been compromised, and that they have incentives tied to the money and to career advancement. That means that they can't be as forthright as they ought to be about these things. And it's gotten to a problem where these are the Professors who are training the doctors who are setting the tone for what is acceptable care out there. And I think that's one of the biggest problems out there." - @taperclinic

DON'T SERVE GOD IN FEAR AND LIVE A DEFEATED LIFE There are many Scriptures connected to longevity in the Bible, including "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." Many people confess, “I shall not die,” without understanding; yet, they are on their way to the grave because they neither know nor have what it takes to bring that prophecy to manifestation. As a believer, if your life is not advancing God’s Kingdom, you're prone to be the victim of attacks in these end times. The devil is forced to stay far away from any believer who is doggedly involved in the work of God. Make up your mind intentionally to work on your health and longevity.
