CHP noticed the car had an expired registration, and after running the license plate, the vehicle came back as stolen. The driver did not stop and led the police through multiple counties on the freeway, driving more than 80 MPH. While trying to exit the freeway, the driver lost control on the off-ramp, hit a car, then slid into the median and destroyed wooden traffic signs. The driver then got out of the car and put his hands up before CHP detained him without resistance.
