There is no reason why #BlackFriday can’t be Green Friday. Because right now, Black Friday is the opposite of responsible consumption. People should be able to enjoy some Christmas shopping and get good deals but this weekend brings: ➡️ Environmental damage ➡️ Consumer regret ➡️ Poor quality products We can do better. The EU 🇪🇺 is already moving, with new rules to make products last longer through the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation. Consumers have power too: shop local, buy second-hand, or support brands that put sustainability first.

Over one weekend the administration blasted out headlines claiming a deal was "95% done" with Iran set to open the Strait of Hormuz. Oil prices immediately plunged 7% on Monday. Yet on that same Monday ships were being attacked in the Persian Gulf and Israel launched fresh strikes on Lebanon with zero increase in actual tanker traffic through the strait. Today the Labor Government will be ramming through the Senate their National Health Amendment (Passive Immunological Products) Bill without debate. The Bill will change and expand the definition of vaccine to include any “immunising agent, that confers protection to persons through active or passive immunity against disease”. What that will likely mean is more products being paid for by the tax payer and presumably added to the childhood schedule in due course. I will NOT BE SUPPORTING the Bill.

I don’t want to fully dive into the 2026 schedule until May. Lot of birds chirping out there calling the Patriots schedule merchants. On paper, at worst, the Pats will go 10-7. This schedule isn’t as hard as people hype it up to be. We still have FA and the Draft. A lot can change all over the NFL from now til May. When the official schedule drops with times and dates, we will dive into an official prediction.
