Tyne-Tees Shoot August 1974 Newcastle 2-0 West Ham Commentator Ken Wolstenholme #NUFC #WHUFC

I was probably at that game, atmosphere was magic at the games for a kid back then and no bloody VAR to ruin the goal celebration

Was a coup for Tyne Tees TV in the Summer of 1974 to get Ken Wolstenholme who was BBC's main commentator until 1971. He stayed with Tyne Tees until the end of the 1978/79 season.

What are the crowd Singing in first 20/30 seconds of this clip. ? 🤔

My first ever game. I’ve not seen those goals since that day.
