Tywin Lannister exposes Maester Pycelle

Deleting this scene was a crime

The switch up crazy lmaooo🤣😭 😭 😭 😭

Tywin Lanister always has an eye to spot pretence. He did it with Arya Now Pycell.

I don't particularly like Pycelle, but I LOVE his shift when Tywin calls him on his bullshit.

Pycelle wasn’t weak. He was acting. Tywin just took away the stage and exposed the fraud.

Tywin was never a fool, he knows a lot but chooses to be quiet

This is Season 3 but I’m trying to figure out when it was. It had to be sometime in-between Episodes 1-3. My guess is S3 Ep2. After Tywin’s hurtful talk with Tyrion in Ep1 but before Tywin’s first small council meeting at the beginning of Ep3. It’s such a great scene.

Tyrion also saw through those mumbling crap act

So he can walk and talk well?😳

I’m shocked people like this scene, because I absolutely hate it (and I can see why it was deleted). It has the very artificial element of Pycelle robotically explaining the manufactured persona he presents, along with the motives beneath it. It’s almost like a writer thought that the viewers were too dumb or inattentive to see past Pycelle’s grift (which we could already infer from the scene of him spryly stretching in private in S1 and his deceitful leak of Tyrion’s confidential plans to Cersei in S2). Given what we already knew by S3, there was no need to spoonfeed the fact that Pycelle’s bumbling and obsequious affection was a synthetic act for self-preservation in King’s Landing. As much as I hate the show-runners artistic decision making skills past season 4, they made the right decision by choosing to leave this on the cutting room floor. They followed the cardinal rule of good cinema: show, don’t tell.

Told that nigga to cut the crap 🤣. Whole ass code switch

Shame, this was a brilliant scene, but they would have needed to follow through with Pycells arc as this double personality... Simply not enough time

Definitely a scene that should’ve made the show

You can’t bullshit an OG😭

For those wondering, A. This is a genuine scene that was deleted from the show B. It was supposed to be in season 3, episode 3 Walk Of Punishment

Why was he faking his steps?

I’ve watched this show at least 100 times and this was not there.

Tywin is so smart he didn’t become hand for nothing

I wish they hadn't deleted this.

I love all the stories about the Maesters! There's still a I'm convinced that the Maesters (a bit like the Bene Gesserit) are pulling the strings behind the scenes.... I'm pretty sure they secretly poisoned some of the dragons...

It wasn't removed. It was in the show.

Which episode was it?

This scene is so good. My word.

Pycelle reminds me of Gus Fring

There's so much to talk about

This man survived many reigns with different king as there special advisor until he was exposed

There was a scene where it hinted at the fact Maester Pycelle was acting but this scene confirms it.

I like it in a similar way to when Clark Kent decides he is going to reveal himself to Lois in Superman 3 but stops himself before she comes in the room. The physical transformation is great.

what season is this one ?

This scene is not in GOT

A deleted scene

I remember seeing this scene whe the episode came out

Held so much in him.....only chose the quiet route

Unreal scene why was it deleted 😭

I WONDERED what happened to this guy....
