KASPAROV: "In 2014, Putin basically broke all the international rules. The international law people so often appeal to now ceased to exist in 2014. He violated every treaty Russia signed, all the guarantees given to Ukraine. The problem is the other side: Americans, Brits, Europeans – they did nothing, despite the 1994 guarantee to Ukraine for its sovereignty and borders by the United States, Great Britain and Russia in exchange for Ukraine giving up the third-largest nuclear arsenal."

On June 1, 1996, the last nuclear missiles were brought from Ukraine into Russia. The next day, Ukraine has lost its status of a nuclear state after signing the Budapest Memorandum. The US, the UK and Russia gave their assurances that Ukrainian security and sovereignty would not be violated. In exchange, Ukraine promised to give up its nuclear arsenal - one-third of the Soviet nuclear arsenal in total. Ukraine held up our end of the bargain. By 1996, all Ukrainian nuclear warheads were transferred to Russia. Some other military equipment - like strategic bomber planes - was simply scrapped; some were transferred to Russia, and, according to recent investigations, they are now used for missile strikes on Ukraine. In 2014, Russia broke its promises by annexing Crimea and invading Donbas. In 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion on Ukraine. Russia would not have dared to attack another nuclear state. The Russian aggression today is a direct consequence of the Budapest Memorandum. Today, Ukraine has launched a successful attack on Russia's strategic aviation. Tu-95 and Tu-160 are capable of launching cruise missiles with nuclear warheads.

The Iranians are telling people that they will never give up their nuclear material for American security guarantees because Trump is not honoring the security guarantees that America made to Ukraine when Ukraine gave up their nukes.

Chancellor Merz: "If we had Ukraine as member in NATO, which was applied in 2008, and the Americans gave support to that, the French and the German government were against it. You can again speculate, would this war had happened? Ukraine was then a big nuclear power. They were the third biggest nuclear power in the world, and they agreed to get rid of all the nuclear weapons. And then after Russia attacked Ukraine, would this have happened with nuclear weapons on the ground? You can ask the same question again. No, this war is now happening and we have to stop it now, this is our task."

A new phase of Operation Vivaldi! Commander: Biletskyi: "The enemy was deceived and slept through the real strike". Russia lost about 2,000 soldiers, and over 250 soldiers were taken prisoner (so more hope for exchanges to get our Defenders out from Russian captivity). The Third Army Corps liberated Nove, Ridkodub, and Katerynivka and restored control over Karpivka and Novomykhailivka. 📹: Third Army Corps
