.Ubi Petrus & Jay Dyer make phenomenal points here about why Gen Z is so attracted to the theological debate sphere. Older generations definitely grew up in a much more homogeneous society, with far less conflict. Gen Z, on the other hand, has grown up in probably one of... the most polarizing periods in history, which attracts us to aggressive pushback against cataclysmic worldviews which have led us to where we are. Religion has been blotted out of public schools, social degeneracy has run its course in every aspect of our society (entertainment, media, literature, politics), standpoint theory is crammed down everyone’s throats in academia… the list is never-ending. Growing up with these things and more… is naturally going to create a generation who wants confrontation with those worldviews and with the people who promote them. People of my generation have visceral reactions to what non-Orthodox worldviews have brought our nation, and not only do we want nothing to do with them, we want to combat and destroy them before they destroy us.show more

We had a frozen conflict in the east of Ukraine for years after Russia’s occupation of Crimea in 2014. We tried to speak with Russia. But we heard nothing but lies from them. No truth. We can’t trust them. They just want to destroy and kill all of us. In 2022 we saw them attack us again. And this wasn’t just war, but terrorism. Clear terrorism. They killed not only the army, but people. They committed horrible atrocities. Russia must leave our territory. After that the world can switch to diplomacy. And our Peace Formula provides a good opportunity for that. What is the alternative? To give Putin the possibility to kill all of us? To destroy our nation and all that we have? This is not only a matter of Ukraine. This is a matter of security in Europe. The matter of NATO unity. Because after Ukraine, Russia will attack NATO countries. Some people say the alternative is to give Putin what he wants and stop the war. What does that mean? Giving him 30 percent of our land? What to do with the people in the temporary occupied territories? Or with the thousands of people who have been killed by Putin and his army? Forget about them? No accountability? No tribunal? I know what to do. We have to be strong. I believe that European countries and the United States believe in our power, our humanity, our attitude toward people and democracy. The alternative is to give a pass to autocrats, give a chance to tyranny, give them the opportunity to destroy democracy and the world. I don’t see any alternative to Ukrainian victory. And I do believe in the unity of the world and its support for Ukraine and democracy. I do believe and trust our people and our warriors. A couple of Jews VS. hundreds of Hamas supporters - I stand in solidarity with Michael and Anastasia and Barbara at Concordia, Shira, Moranne, and all my Jewish brothers and sisters and ALL good-hearted people in the world against intolerance and hatred. Here in Montreal. In Toronto. Everywhere in the world. Against lies and propaganda and people being brainwashed and led astray from the goodness of their souls. I do not hate these people. I feel sorry for them. But this is not about them. This is about US. This is about our morality. I do not compare myself to them. I look in the mirror of my people and overall, I like what I see. I am proud of who we are with our achievements, moral clarity and yes, our imperfections. I encourage all good people to learn the facts. To speak up. To show up. And to stand up to bullies. Bullies are cowards. And bullies are afraid of one thing: those who are not afraid of them. I am not so afraid that I won’t stand up to them. Michael is not afraid. Anastasia is not afraid. Shapiro: My kid's entire frame of reference about politics over the last decade has been Donald Trump, has been cruelty, has been personal attacks, has been attacks on social media, attacks in speeches, attacks in person. I think they have seen negative behavior reinforced by the most powerful person in our country. Making fun of people with disabilities is just one example. And for them, they grew up at a time where the president of the United States, that's all he does, put down people with disabilities, attack them. It's going to take us some real time in this country to help the generation of my kids and those around that generation to overcome the negativity that they really experienced for this last decade. And if Donald Trump has his way, this type of politics will continue with JD Vance or Marco Rubio. And so I don't think we're sort of out of the woods yet on this. And I think it has certainly had a negative impact on my kid's generation, your kid's generation, and many others.
