Try this thing now in a ubisoft game I bet the glass is bullet proof lol

Back when ubisoft made good games

i love splinter cell. i remember playing as sam fisher every weekend when i was a boy, staying up all night figuring out how to take out enemies in stealth. those were the good times.

Why the fuck did the Splinter Cell games just completely disappear? Best espionage games ever made.

what happened to them man.... i really love ubisoft and their IPs. but i can't dickride modern ubisoft they have been giving us poor games. I don't blame the devs though, i think a lot of it is the corporate side of the spectrum, give devs free creative control.

back then, people in the gaming industry made games because of passion 1st, money 2nd nowadays, since its a multi-billion dollar industry, money comes first ALWAYS there aren't gamers as head of studios or gaming media companies, only ex-consultants and corporate dipshits

Ubisoft is not evolving in reverse

Key word, *was. Ubisoft doesn’t have the brain power in their lead ship to pull something like this off in 2026.

I miss Splinter Cell.

Then they got stuck in the past since Far Cry 3

This game was like looking into the a future of gaming we never got.

Splinter cell might be the most tragic lost IP of gaming

They really went from that to this

Amazing how they let that franchise die. Gamers are begging for another sequel or a reboot. They'll do anything but that.

one of my favorite games growing up.

I can still hear the sound of the night vision googles turning on in my head

this game was so ahead of its time even in multiplayer on the map Aquarius you could shoot one of the fish tanks to spread water then sticky shocker the water to aoe a merc. Shout out to timF

Hideo Kojima did this in 2001....

I remember playing Chaos Theory and marveling at how moving through curtains was handled and being excited for the higher fidelity version of it. It wasn't long after that that developing engine tech and games ceased to be done hand in hand and we dove into an age of stagnation.

Splinter Cell games is awesome !!!!

It's really sad that we didn't get a proper splinter cell game since 2005 Chaos Theory

Let’s be real. It’s not the same company anymore. You’re over here showing me a fish tank losing water after a bullet went through it and these mfs didn’t even have stair steps programmed in Mirage. It’s a fucking Parkour game that prior installments had figured out.

Hence his name.

Hahah i know that scene, room, floor etc all details i remember, it was splinter cell

Splitter Cell, my favourite game as a kid

i think this and assassin's creed were masterpieces, pure art

Back when devs cared about the little details enough to write things like this into the game.

They also have made some of the most broken unplayable games ever

its a very effect, they were just simply smart to add it

why is this site full of people who are infinitely fascinated by the most mundane shit in video games?

Sam Fisher needs a proper new chapter or remake

@Turtle_2491

Yea, they fell......HARD.

ubisoft shipped devtools the industry still hasnt caught up to in pipelines

Don’t kill the fish.
