Chinese humanoid maker UBTech has secured a $1 billion credit line from Infini Capital to expand production and build a research hub and “super factory” in the Middle East. The Hong Kong–Abu Dhabi–based investment firm aims to increase its holding in UBTech to 5% and will leverage its AI/robotics investments to help UBTech develop more powerful, cost-effective humanoid robots.
