Very clean, we definitely need more polish like this to gain mainstream adoption

This is fine. 👌

That take 25 seconds longer to display than my Debian system takes to fully boot.

A partnership with Microsoft has led to an overemphasis on visual appeal at the expense of stability, open-source principles, and community involvement.

Looks nice, although is it a boot screen or a movie trailer? Too long.

The Ubuntu boot animation on the Dell XPS 13 is sleek, I'll give them that. It's a great example of how open source tools can lead to more flexibility and control in design. The fact that it's on a Dell machine just goes to show that open source is becoming more mainstream.

What waste of time, resources and efficiency.

it's kinda 90's 😅

It doesn't work as a boot screen. It's too flashy and way too long knowing the meta for boot screen times is often less than 10 seconds.
